You didn't even read the order...LIAR as usual!
And you can thank your GOD Tramp for his EO allowing churches to engage in politics. How conveniently you know-it-all no nothings forget!
May 4, 2017
President Trump on Thursday signed an executive order aimed at making it easier for churches to participate in politics, seeking to deliver on a campaign pledge to a community that overwhelmingly backed in him in last year’s election.
The order, which Trump unveiled with great fanfare in a Rose Garden ceremony, was cheered by some conservative Christians but seen as a disappointment by others, who said it fell short of the broader changes they wanted as part of a highly anticipated measure on religious liberties.
The order, Trump said, removes the financial threat faced by tax-exempt churches from the Internal Revenue Service when pastors speak out on behalf of political candidates.
"Respecting Religious and Political Speech. All executive departments and agencies (agencies) shall, to the greatest extent practicable and to the extent permitted by law, respect and protect the freedom of persons and organizations to engage in religious and political speech. In particular, the Secretary of the Treasury shall ensure, to the extent permitted by law, that the Department of the Treasury does not take any adverse action against any individual, house of worship, or other religious organization on the basis that such individual or organization speaks or has spoken about moral or political issues from a religious perspective, where speech of similar character has, consistent with law, not ordinarily been treated as participation or intervention in a political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) a candidate for public office by the Department of the Treasury."
If you read it, you didn't understand it.
It specifically continues the prohibition on endorsement or opposition to a political candidate.
So, thank you, keyboard warrior, for more nonsense, and another ridiculous statement calling me a liar.
Grow up. If you disagree with someone, that's fine. Calling them a liar because you think they are wrong is childish. Calling them a liar because you think they are wrong, while you are actually wrong, is just plain [never mind].
