Sadly, they don’t see their action as the cause of a hopeless vicious cycle in life passing from one generation to another. They see themselves as hip and cool while going nowhere in life. I have heard (but I think everyone is guessing) that the parents didn't want their son to admit anything. You still have to pay for legal representation, even if you handcuff them.

I'd have had no problem with a manslaughter charge, but it's kind of silly to think he woke up that morning and said, "I'm gonna stab me a white boy!"

He likely woke up every morning saying "I hope I can stab me some honky white boy". That's why he carried the knife and why he went to that team's tent instead of his own.

I agree and both should remain there for life. But when certain people making excuses for Anthony (Metcalf would still be alive had he didn't touch Anthony) why not apply the same logical conclusion to Arbery's killers?

The normal and legal response to a shove is NOT a knife to the heart. If Karmelo had just shoved back, this would have been just another scuffle between overly testosteroned athletes.

Now, imagine if it were two black teens who pushed around a smaller white boy. I'm sure your reaction would have been totally different.

Stop lying, that didn't happen. One boy shoved him, Anthony didn't go to the ground, he pulled out a knife and plunged it into the victim's chest with no warning at all right after the shove. Anthony wasn't even knocked off balance by the shove as shown by his immediate fatal response.
