I don’t believe that will change anytime soon. In this country, the blame is white supremacy. In sub-Saharan Africa, it’s colonialism. Yes they did. The family bought a new car and rented a house in a gated community. That's why they had to use a public defender. Donations are pouring in now. If they are going to appeal, they will have to pay for it. There's no state paid appeal like with the death penalty.

The only reason he didn't get life was that he was a minor when he committed the murder and the law restricts the punishment.
