Optics aren’t on the parents’ side. Anyone who is a parent teaches their kids to get away from bullies or to push or punch back - not retaliate with a fatal knife stab. The next part is that if money is raised for your child’s defense, every penny goes to the best legal defense. You don’t correct a million dollar home stack it with three luxury cars while you are unemployed and your son is in need of the best defense.

I feel bad for Karmelo. Not only was he not raised correctly, his parents sold him out in an extreme time of need for him.

Pictures indicate that he was into the "thug culture" with his hoodlum friends.

But remember…..the third friend who did nothing other than FILM the shooting was ALSO sentenced to life in prison. The racists who are outraged that Karmelo is going to prison for 35 years for plunging a knife into a white boy’s heart have no problem that a white man is in prison for life for filming a shooting.

It meets every standard for stand your ground, he cant escape, his attackers are armed, disparate force 4 VS 1, serious bodily injury or death is imminent. This is a slam dunk clear cut justifiable use of deadly force in self defense.

That's correct, the prosecution did not prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that Karmelo was guilty.
