The U.S. "presence" in Ukraine started covertly under Obama and became more and more overt over time until the shit hit the fan under Obama's puppet and extention of himself, Biden. Ukraine is chock full of resources and the military industrial people in the U.S. knew Russia had to be pushed back in order for them to someday take control of it. Russia invaded when they saw how Ukraine was being slowly armed against them. They were trying to prevent their eventual removal from the world stage which would be inevitable if Zelensky succeeeded in doing Obama/Biden's dirty work according to plan. The media is still misrepresenting what really happened there, making the Biden Administration into a hero and savior in the news. And obviously the internet is still full of brainwashed trolls who still believe that bullshit. Nothing could be so disgustingly far from the truth, and it was Obama and Biden who brought this atrocity on Uklraine in the first place. In the end Ukraine will be screwed whether Russia wins or not, Obama and Biden are 100% guilty of what has happened there.

I suggest reading the "History of the Peloponnesian War" by Thucydides, if you haven't already. It is a classic example of spheres of influence and how great powers get sucked into wars by the conflicts of smaller powers. When NATO started adding members years ago, I knew it would eventually lead to a negative Russian reaction.
