Obamas new czars communist - Google Search
Czar: any person exercising great authority or power in a particular field
Czar Definition | Definition of Czar at Dictionary.com
I have a big problem with czars being appointed (by any president), not confirmed and not vetted. Everyone should. Obama is up to what, 30 or so? Just how much power and influence do they have? They answer to no one but the president. Where are the checks and balances? Many of the czars that Obama has appointed are just as radical as Jones. Too much power and control in the hands of too few people is a bad thing.

It's weird watching liberals evolve from an anti-government entity of the 60s to the government control of everything 2000s. No wonder they voted with Bush on every single issue for eight years except for Terry Schiavo and SCHIPs.

They didn't. Republicans held a comfortable majority in both Houses from 2001 through 2006, with any attempt to circumvent their agenda by Democrats threatened to be vetoed by the president.

They never had the 60-vote requirement.
From January 3 to January 20, 2001, with the Senate divided evenly between the two parties, the Democrats held the majority due to the deciding vote of outgoing Democratic Vice President Al Gore. Senator Thomas A. Daschle served as majority leader at that time. Beginning on January 20, 2001, Republican Vice President Richard Cheney held the deciding vote, giving the majority to the Republicans. Senator Trent Lott resumed his position as majority leader on that date. On May 24, 2001, Senator James Jeffords of Vermont announced his switch from Republican to Independent status, effective June 6, 2001. He announced that he would caucus with the Democrats, giving that party a one-seat advantage and changing control of the Senate back to the Democrats. Thomas A. Daschle again became majority leader on June 6, 2001. Trent Lott announced on December 20, 2002, that he would not continue as Republican leader in the 108th Congress. William Frist was elected Republican leader on Dec. 23, 2002, and began service on January 7, 2003. Today's Democratic Party is no longer the Party of Liberals. It has now become the Party of Socialists. There is a difference. People often make the mistake of thinking the two are the same thing.
