Actually, worse.

Pontius Pilate arguing pretty vigorously for Jesus NOT to be crucified, but finally gave in to the mob. At last he said, fine, but the blood is on your hands. I wash my hands of it.

These cretinous cowards never even stood up for what was right. There was no arguing or struggling. They just folded.

I have no words for what a massive fail this is--I'm just astounded that not one decent man was found among them.
