USMB member pic thread. Don't be shy.

I was searching for a handsome picture of moi, when it occurred to me that such a thing doesn't exist.

I know what U mean. The image of me below is when I was about 56/57 years of age & most likely the best image of me out of the few images that I still possess of me.

have left of me.

Do you play in that area often? My daughter lives in Hayden and I'm down there often, maybe I could catch one of your shows.
I'm playing in Couer d'Alene at "Duelers" on Sherman Ave every Wednesday and Thursday night this summer with a group called "Flashback", 50s and 60s rocknroll. In St. Marie's, Idaho on July 4th. I.play with a few other groups sporadically during the summer throughout the area. Duelers is a piano bar on Saturday night. Stop in on a Wednesday or Thursday and say "Hi".

Thanks, We just might do that. Probably near Father's Day.

My brother was a bass player. He built his own guitars and speakers. The bass is a 5 string fretless. The speakers have 15" JBLs

The left bass is a Lakland 5 string I use for rocknroll and rocking country, and the hollow body 4 string is an Epiphone Jack Casady signature bass I use for softer stuff, Americana and folky bluegrass, etc.

I always thought those 2 dudes in ZZ Top were wearing "get ups" so they could walk around and not be bothered by fans. Maybe I am wrong.
I REALLY LIKE the background directly behind U!!! Deer/goats, don't live life without them!

My brother retired. He was a VP of HR for a Fortune 500. Early next year it will be 1 full year. He was paid $1 million dollars to sit at home for a year. If they found out he went back to work they could stop paying him. So he has checked off a few bucket list things, he's had a great time, and I don't think he ever wants to go back to work full time, EVER again.

BUT, he will consider taking on contract work. He was contacted by a head hunter about a company who's employees just voted to go union. The company doesn't know everything they need to do, but my brother does. So for $10,000 a week, for about 3 months, he will help them transition. Because he has dealt with unions in almost every country in the world. I don't think he's getting this gig because he still needs to not work for a couple/few more months but damn that's a good gig huh? Work 3 months and make more than I make working all year?

So in 3 months he will make $120,000. Maybe take on one of these projects once a year. I told him he should buy the big fishing boat he's always wanted or 4x4 side by side with these gigs. Or a tractor. Like, with all the attachments. All the toys he doesn't have, buy them with this money. Like Jay Leno. He never bought a car with his Tonight Show money. Only the money he made doing stand up.

That is a great PIC...I just closed my eyes and saw all of it !

Your brother must be a really cool guy !

That is not me !

I posted it somewhere around here...I can't find it.

I belong to a lot of bird sites and big animals in India's wild...I love it !
Sorry for the mistaken identity! The blue jeans livestock pen & goat caught my attention big time. I am continuously online checking out deer/fawns & goats/kid goats. I recently seen an elephant vid sporting a baby elephant. When I spy a creature vid especially one with momma & her lil tyke(s) & I am instantly viewing it then save if in my folders. India, like U may have seen an elephant(s) in the flesh? Below, the cute lil tyke picks up a rake then drops it so momma picks up the rake & GIVES IT TO THE PEN KEEPER!!!

He is the best. So he did go back to work. He is contracting for one of the major national pizza companies. I won't say which one but you wouldn't believe how much money this pizza company makes. Their stock price is insane. Anyways, contractors like him make $200-$300 an hour. The guy who hired him only gave him $200. He was PISSED. I laughed because his entire career, he's been on the other end of that negotiation. Of course the company is only going to pay you $200 an hour when you say you want $200-$300 hr. Or when you say "I know contractors make $200-$300" to the guy interviewing you. What he heard was $200. LOL.

And the rule is, you make your deal on the way in. He said he was going to renegotiate that rate in a couple months but I don't think he ever did. Why? Because you make your deal on the way in. It's very hard to ask for more later. Welcome to the world of being the employee not the employer bro.

P.S. He bought a boat. Not a big one but it's a good boat that can take out on the bigger lakes. My pontoon is only built to go on smaller lakes. We take his boat out on Lake Charlevoix up north. He recently caught 3 salmon. First time catching salmon. So he is working part time and still living his best life. I'm happy for and I'm proud of him.
