Red State! Amen.

When your State’s Attorney General has difficulty spelling (at least correctly) the name of his own State — or his own job title.

I mean, yes, sure. We all make mistakes and often-times we fail to properly edit. That happens mostly in texting or posting in arenas like USMB.

Call me old-fashioned, but I hold lawyers doing their jobs to a higher standard.

On the other hand, I do feel good about my side of the political divide if that Virginia AG is an example of our opponents’ skills.

Donald Trump apologizes to Melania for years-old mistake: 'I stood up here to explain it to you'

The Leader of the Cult-of-Personality uses a "machine" of some sort to write-out/post things?

No wonder he accuses others of using an Auto-Pen. Wanna bet he does more often than anybody realizes, and of course more often than he would ever admit to.

Donald Trump is owning up to a major mistake he’s made over the years: misspelling Melania’s name on social media.

While speaking at an event over the weekend that honored mothers of United States military service members, Trump touched on his misspellings, including the infamous 2018 incident that was highly criticized online.

The president explained that the mistakes weren’t intentional, but a result of autocorrect on his phone and ā€œworking quickly.ā€

ā€œThey have spell correct and word correct on these crazy machines that we use to put out truths, or they used to be called tweets, and every time I wrote Melania it would correct to ā€˜Melanie,ā€™ā€ he said.

Again...
AI Overview: In March 20'26, the Trump administration's Department of Justice (DOJ) faced embarrassment after filing an emergency appeal with the 6th District Court containing significant typos. The filing, regarding Michigan voter data, misspelled words like "voters" as "votors," "United States" as "United Staes," and "emergency" as "emeregency".

Case Details: The error-ridden filing was an emergency appeal made after a Michigan judge refused to force the state to turn over personal voter information, such as social security numbers and birthdates, for the 2026 midterms.

Widespread Errors: This was not isolated; in October 2025, a Trump-appointed prosecutor mislabeled a New York Attorney General’s address as "Brooklyn, New Jersey".

Other Failures: In early 2025, the DOJ mistakenly appealed to the wrong lower court in a $2 billion dispute, prompting legal criticism.

Result: These incidents have led to accusations of a "sloppy" and "disorganized" legal strategy, with several suits filed in the wrong districts. The administration has filed multiple lawsuits against states to obtain voter data, alleging they are protecting election integrity, while critics contend the actions are flawed and based on misinformation.

Your incessant harping on some misspelled words posted by Democrats reeks of something.

DEI strikes again.
