US vs Iran Dilemma: Who to believe. Who has more credibility?

The only way Republicons can win elections is to rig districts in their favor, & disenfranchise voters who may vote against them, you moron.

Lincoln should have let you racist bast**ds secede from the union to fend for yourselves right before you killed each other off.

Um Lincoln was a Republican…in fact the first one elected President

Your post is littered with really idiotic thoughts

When the policy failed to deliver, we changed our policy position.

It is sad how slow we were on it.

What part of that is confusing to you?
That policy did deliver and made us more competitive around the world.

Those nations are now teaming up against us and China is looking like a more attractive trade partner

Actually the US used to engage in trade partnerships not trade wars
And Trump rightly figured out that "partnership" to our trading countries meant that we take it in the shorts while they run roughshod over us. That rightly ended, and they're crying like you are now.
It is now the US vs the world and the rest of the world is looking for more dependable trade partners

China is filling that void
Well, they do that at their own peril....Becoming beholden to China will not work out for them in the long run....And, that just shows that they were never our friends to begin with....If you have to buy your friends, you don't have any friends....

Trump acted the same way in his business partnerships.
He always whined that he was being cheated and used it as an excuse to break the agreement.

One of the reasons so many Trump businesses failed

So, just so I have this straight, you are for the failed status quo? It is a fact that our trade balance was severly f*ed up, and we were bleeding boatloads of taxpayer money, just keeping them going as they were...Why would anyone with a functioning brain continue that?

The world has determined that the U.S. is no longer a reliable trade partner. Our political climate swings too rapidly and we can’t be depended to keep to our agreements

China has stepped up to fill that void. While they may be somewhat overbearing, they are predictable

The status quo has worked for a hundred years.
The U.S. was a reliable trade partner who kept their word.

Trade balance?
The U.S. is the biggest consumer in the world. We are buyers, they are sellers.
No way they can buy as much as we do.

Well, let's see how the children of the world like "overbearing".....lol....

You think China will open their checkbook without strings? I sure don't....

But, as usual, you'll be rooting for China, instead of the United States...That much is clear.

You really think the U.S. did not have strings?
The children of the world used to think we were the good guys. Provide humanitarian aid, military protection.

We are now the bad guys

yep, children often hate it when the parent tells them to stand on their own feet.

I can’t even believe that the OP was seriously asking whether Islamic terrorists are more credible than America. Shows how effective the enemy’s campaign to get Americans to despise their own country has been. (Of course, only leftists are stupid and gullible to have fallen for it.)

Reminds me of how scary those cute little black bears at Yellowstone got when we ran out of food to give them. Lucky we were in the car.

It will work out just fine for them. Chinese automation makes goods Europe needs much cheaper, that doesn't require any US import.

The fastest growing auto sales in Europe are Chinese made vehicles, which are exponentially more advanced, and more reliable with longer ranges than anything made in the US or Japan. Even Toyota and Honda are admitting that.

Both Europe and China hold enough of our debt, that they could sink the US into a deep recession overnight.

Canada is now allowing more Chinese made vehicles to be sold, and once they make their way into the US, Americas scam manufacturing prowess, which doesn't exist by the way, will be fully exposed.

Taiwan can easily supply the microchips necessary to sustain Europes needs, and since companies like Apple already have manufacturing infrastructure in China, they can escape all US tariffs. Other US countries will simply move their manufacturing base to China to do the same.

The current disaster that is the Iran debacle, has now pushed alternative energy and electric vehicle demand to all time highs, and Trump looks weak and feckless to the entire world after not being able to open the Strait of Hormuz, and no middle east country, or our NATO allies want anything to do with it.

Trump heads to talks with President Xi of China next week, and Xi will come out the clear winner on any deals because Trump needs Xi. Xi doesn't need Trump.

10 years from now, it will be 2036. Trump will be on the other side of the dirt. No doubt on one of his golf courses under a gold statute for a tax break. Any remaining stench of his existence will have long been erased, along with any remaining stench of maga.

China will be the worlds biggest economy, and green energy and electric vehicles will dominate manufacturing around the world. The hundreds of billons of dollars scammed to stop Iran from having the bomb will have been for nothing, because it has always been a matter of when, not if, when they do finally become part of the nuclear capable countries.

Iran has no incentive to make a deal with Trump, and is fully in control of the current situation. All they have to do is keep the Strait of Hormuz closed, and drag this out until after the midterm elections in the US, which will see gas prices reach $5 a gallon.

China also has no incentive to make any deal with Trump. They are coming from a position of strength, while Trump comes from a position of weakness, and the whole world knows it.
