US to withdraw from NATO?

If Trump believes that Iran is an imminent threat, especially since the JCPOA expired, NATO should support Iran getting defanged.

Blocking or hindering the US against Iran shows how useless the EU NATO members are.

EXPIRED? So Cheeto didn't end it

JCPOA had a 15-year expiration date. It was worthless. Trump's "no nukes period" had consequences.
They call it a "war of choice", but it is the JCPOA by military means.

ONLY Congress could do it
Chump just has to not order US forces to respond.

NATO is effectively dead.

The next POTUS will inherit the earned distrust of the US by the rest of NATO.

Ok, we'll remember that the next time the EU countries need military help.
Good luck with Hormuz being closed or held for ransom.
Military help like closing the Strait of Hormuz?

I'm sure everyone's as grateful as appropriate for another US clusterfuck in the ME.

The world was running out of them.

You've forgotten how the EU countries fought in another war we started for no reason.

Why Putin wanted Trump

The US has spent hundreds of billions of dollars, if not trillions over the years, protecting Europe with American lives and assets. When we need European bases to launch an attack on a country that has ballistic missiles that can reach THEIR CAPITALS, NOT OURS, they say no.

**** them. **** NATO. They can defend themselves. Bring our boys home.

Yes, we started it. I remember back in 1979 we were all shouting "Death to Iran". Then we took Iranian hostages for 400 days.
Want to back a few years earlier and tell us what US and UK did to Iran?

There is no one innocent if that fight...

Thing was the UN deal was going well and Trump had an offer on the table from Iran to stop any Nuclear development.

JArad and Witkoff wanted a war and they led Trump into it... I don't think Trump knew what he was getting himself into.
It is pretty clear that they didn't discuss this within intelligence community....

yep,

NATO is a defensive alliance... US wasn't attacked.

For US was led into this war by vested interests that are not looking after then US interests. NATO countries are stupid enough to follow them.

Trump didn't discuss the attack with NATO. Sorry, if you want have a war, it is your business..

What foreigners don't understand when they insult our president is, conservatives and decent liberals will come together and defend this great man. We are free to debate him, but you foreigners had better not. We are America first, and Trump IS America, so we all agree foreigners had better lay off.
Nope...

Look at the opinion polls on the war...

This is 2 days ago:

In the CNN poll, released Wednesday before President Trump gave an address on the conflict, 66 percent said they either “somewhat disapprove” or “strongly disapprove” of “the U.S. decision to take military action in Iran.”

US doesn't want this war either... Even Trump is talking about going home...
This adventure was massively ill conceived....

NATO members don't trust Trump and they have very good reason... He has shown only contempt for them in the first place.

Jews don't like it either

The NATO leaders wouldn't leader for hot minute if they said they were getting involved...

Facts are, Trump is not America...

Yes, the US was.

If Iran had been chanting "death to France" for 47 years, had killed over 1000 French citizens and military, and France finally decided they had enough and would take out the regime, we would have been right with them.

But no more.

The US was attacked numerous times by Iran. I guess 300 people dead in Lebanon in 1983 doesn't mean shit to you, does it? Just because previous administrations kicked the can down the road doesn't mean it's still not an act of war. And acts of war do not have expiration dates.

Iran launched missiles at Turkey. That doesn't count?

Well Turkey not US would have to invoke Article 5...

So no that doesn't count....

It would take a lot more than a few misses to get Turkey into this shit show.. No one is that dumb.
