US to withdraw from NATO?

I cannot think of anything that Putin would like more than to see the US withdraw from NATO. Having achieved nothing but chaos with his vastly unpopular war in Iran, one we started, Trump is once again doing the bidding of his KBG master in the Kremlin.

Maybe the europeans need to be more supportive, or at least diplomatic.

Suppose that is true. Should we really base our U.S. policies on always doing the opposite of what Putin wants us to do?
And who said that Putin isn't interested in high oil prices, distraction of the USA, multiple losses of US military, moored in another Middle East war?

Ok. I just said, that may be, Putin was interested in unsuccessful American invasion in Iran.
Yes, could be.

Since we have not invaded Iran, I'm not sure by what criteria anyone would say it is an unsuccessful invasion, but I guess we wait and see.

"Not invaded yet". Not that you have too many options. You can accept defeat now (and it seems to be the best option for you) or you can escalate, use tactical nukes and invade and be defeated then.

What is your criteria for this "defeat?"

If we stop all actions now, we won. Iran is damaged and especially so is their nuclear program. Most importantly, whoever winds up being in charge will know that they can be taken out anytime, even if they hide in the deepest bunker in Iran.

Or we can keep bombing until all of the Mullahs are gone. Or we can start arming dissident Iranians.

We have plenty of options, all of them good for us and bad for the Mullahs and their cheerleaders on this forum.

No, bro, you don't understand.
If the US loses one single plane, they are LOSING.
If Iran is bombed 24/7 with no airspace control and their entire leadership is dead and their remaining singular spokesperson is issuing empty threats from a bunker they are WINNING.

You are already leaving your bases in the region.

Oil prices are scyrocketing, and inflation is warming up.

Or you can face, say, Islamic Socialistic Revolution in New York... Oh, wait...

Not all of them. China already started supply Iran, so you can't win a war of attrition.

And to defeat 92-mln strong Iran militarily you need both nukes and ground operation. Not sure you prefer it, especially that even with nukes the victory is far from being guaranteed.

It depends on goals. American goal is profit. Iranian goal is survival.

Ali Khamenei is dead.
His son is in a coma and mutilated.
A vast majority of the command structure outside of decentralized lieutenant commanders is exterminated.
Their launchers are almost all gone
Navy almost all gone
Military in general almost all gone.
The Iranian public is on our side.
What does this all mean? Once we've accomplished our objectives (decimating the regime) the Iranian people will finish the job for us.

Okay, that makes sense!

Thanks.

I haven't read Zavulon's explanation yet. Lets see if his is as good.

EDIT: YES, HE PRETTY MUCH SAID THE SAME THINGS.BUT WITH A LOT MORE WORDS.

Ahh, the chaosâ„¢ slogan. The democrat sloganeers seem to think that their endless slogans are anything but juvenile and tiresome.

Now, they have barfed up the Russia, Russia, Russia conspiracy theories.

15th post
You literally wrote as if you had sent me a message, and I had replied and you were replying to that.

"I already said" to quote the first three words of your post.

I wasn't replying to you, so it doesn't matter if you "already said" something. I wasn't replying to you.

You can join in with a post, but to do it in the manner you do is just baffling.
