US signs anti-abortion declaration with group of largely authoritarian governments

Just how "authoritarian" is ripping an unborn baby out of the womb and murdering her/him?
They don't rip a fetus out of the womb.

That is exactly what they do....Rods are inserted to keep the cervix open, and a suction device is inserted sucking the baby apart as it removes it from the womb....

That is what you are killing at 12 weeks.

How old are you. Give me your last Doctors visit, scan it in!!

I want to know everything about you concerning your health?

So the US, under the "leadership" of trump, takes another giant leap into authoritarianism, and installing a right-wing theocracy to rule over a once-free people. They always go after women and LGBTs first, as we are considered expendable.

The US government has no business taking any stand on abortion, which is not an issue that legitimately involves government. It is purely ideological and there is no universal agreement.

Standing up for the lives of the unborn that can not defend themselves is honorable.

Are you a male? You sound like one.

Does it matter? What does that picture of a 12 week fetus show you....? Is that a toaster? is it a Buick?

Looks like a human to me....

Yet nothing is developed, no its not an infant. You are a male, speaks volumes, you want to control the female.

I don't recall telling you if I am male or female...but, you're saying nothing is devoloped at 12 weeks, is completely untrue...

When you’re 12 weeks pregnant, your baby is developing reflexes. Eyelids are starting to open and close, and they’re sucking with their mouth. Later, fingers will open and close, and toes will curl. Most of these reflexes start to develop in utero and stick around for a while after they’re born. Then eventually, they’ll be replaced by voluntary movements. Here are a few you may notice post-birth:

  • Moro reflex: Newborns seem to startle easily! When there’s sudden movement or a loud noise, they’ll throw out their arms and legs and then pull them back in toward their body. Your baby already has this reflex (it starts at about the 8th or 9th week of pregnancy), and it should go away by the time they’re four months old.
  • Palmar grasp: Ever notice how a newborn will hold on to a finger or almost anything else you put in the palm of their hand? Right about now, your baby already has this reflex. It’s a strong reflex until about two or three months post-birth and then disappears around the first birthday.
  • Babinski reflex: When you stroke the bottom of a newborn’s foot, their toes will fan out, and the rest of the foot will curl. So cute! This reflex will develop around the 18th week of pregnancy and go away by six months post-birth (though sometimes it can last until 2 years).

In just the fifth week after conception, the first synapses begin forming in a fetus’s spinal cord. By the sixth week, these early neural connections permit the first fetal movements–spontaneous arches and curls of the whole body–that researchers can detect through ultrasound imaging. Many other movements soon follow–of the limbs (around eight weeks) and fingers (ten weeks), as well as some surprisingly coordinated actions (hiccuping, stretching, yawning, sucking, swallowing, grasping, and thumb-sucking). By the end of the first trimester, a fetus’s movement repertoire is remarkably rich, even though most pregnant women can feel none of it. (Most women sense the first fetal movements around eighteen weeks of pregnancy.)

You're claim here is a complete lie.

Tell me your medical history?? I want to know!!

So none of your 2 men want to give me your medical history, Why not?

I want to know if you use medical enhancement for your penises. Are you on Viagra?

The “core supporters” of the declaration are Brazil, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia and Uganda, and the 27 other signatories include Belarus (where security forces are currently trying to suppress a women-led protest movement), Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Sudan, South Sudan, Libya.

Most of the signatories are among the 20 worst countries to be a woman according to the Women, Peace and Security Index established by Georgetown University.

The list of Americas new friends must make sobering reading. Not to worry. In a fortnight President Joe will consign this to the bin.

Because civilized societies recognize the rights of women to have a say in it. In all of these countries women are little more than slaves. This shows the contempt Republicans have for women.

Killing kids for the sake of convenience ain't cool.

It is damn time these filthy asshole Libtards understood that.

You are claiming it is six weeks which has no scientific evidence behind it.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Its none of your fucking business.

Is it the baby's business to want to live sugar; just like any other murder victim?

Does the defenseless baby get a vote.

You assume that a baby is capable of independent thought. Where is your evidence of this?
You assume that the baby is not capable of independent thought. Where is your evidence of this sweety?

Is eating a chicken egg murder? Authoritarianism is using the power of the state to impose your religious beliefs on others. The woman has a say in it.

When did eating animal protein become murder?

So slaughterhouses are extermination camps in your clearly public schooled mind.

I read the Guardian article. It does NOT include the actual "AGREEMENT"-----just the details that abortion
is not a guaranteed right at the EXPENSE of the state.
I cannot say if it includes other details which might
restrict RIGHT TO ABORTION----the article just does not include that information. Perhaps TAINTED could find the words of the actual agreement.
The Guardian is hardly a SOURCE----it is a sensationalist rag

The Trump Administration signed an anti-abortion declaration with 32 member states in the United Nations on Thursday, many of which are authoritarian regimes or seen as flawed democracies, a move which drastically reframes U.S. foreign policy ahead of the presidential election.
