US Central Command has released footage of missile strikes on the Iranian Navy. The video shows American missile strikes on the Iranian Shahid Soleimani-class corvette, as well as on Gadir-class submarines, Zolfaghar-class missile patrol boats, and other Iranian assets.

The Gadir-class submarines are a series of midget submarines built by Iran specifically for navigating the shallow waters of the Persian Gulf. The project is named after the religious site of Ghadir Khumm. As of 2025, approximately 20 submarines of this class have been built and commissioned, all of which are operated by the Iranian Navy and serve in the Southern Fleet. The Gadir-class submarines are designed for littoral combat operations.

Well, he is right, some people are trying to make the argument that this was a highly illegal and vulgar war, and I'm sure many will buy that argument with zeal, but I'm not so sure I do. That is not to say that I find Israel totally innocent and blameless with a halo around their heads. And as to Trump and Hegseth, I think a lot will be decided and determined by how this war goes.

If it wraps up fairly cleanly with some positive visible outcome for the region within the next few weeks and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard surrender or are summarily ground to dust in fairly short order, I think it will be a very positive thing for all of us, Israel, the Iranian people, the whole region and the world, but if it just degrades into some kind of protracted and very costly meat-grinder that we end up backing out of after too long leaving the country in a bigger mess than before with a very unclear result, I'll be profoundly disappointed.
