I don’t think Trump was lying when he said that the Iranian nuclear capability was decimated. There was still no reason to believe that the mullocrats would end their attempts to build the Allah bomb.

I think it’s important to understand motivations. As such, I tend to be suspicious of Iran’s mullocrats who are inclined to do anything to speed up the return their Mahdi. Ignoring the lurid religious fantasies of endtimes ideologues can be a dangerous path. Consider a nuclear Iran, for example.
