And now the post-Roe world we live in bears me out.

Sadly, I do not expect the so-called pro-life movement to snap out of their delusions and start advocating the methods which would actually reduce the number of abortions dramatically.

They have chosen instead to be total dicks about the whole thing which tells me its about the cruelty and not about human life.

Most citizens do not consider a termination of pregnancy in the first trimester, murder.

And if you accept that abortion is murder, which many but not all on the religious right claim as you do....

It would be murder up to a 6 week ban too, which several rightwing states have instituted....no?

In the U.S., 38 states have laws with more harsh penalties if the victim is murdered while pregnant. The point of the Trump cult is about cruelty, not saving the lives of the unborn. It's about payback for Roe's longstanding existence.

If it was about reducing abortions, the Trump cult would be advocating methods we know will significantly reduce the number of abortions.

Under Trump's plan the states would be able to regulate their own plan for abortion. Why is the right for Americans to determine their own destiny in the voting booth so scary to the baby killer industry? My guess is that Planned Parenthood wouldn't be funded by taxpayers.

The point of Dobbs is that abortion is a state issue, not a national issue. It never was a national issue. There is nothing in the Constitution that protects abortion. Roe v Wade was a false decision by the court.
