Without a Special Election Period you can't get a plan. If they take you on a Short Term Plan they would exclude your illness. Sadly you are out of luck until Jan 1st

Sounds like the agent he spoke of early on in this thread was surprised his procedure was denied. That was a bunch of bullshit the agent knew very well a temporary plan wasn't going to pay for any pre x. But his trusted agent received his commission.
