"Unfathomable": Reporter Breaks Down Two Key Gaps In Police Response

DID that room have windows? If so, why was that not an obvious entry point for police. Again, not a single word about that question.

So, you support the Police to just stand around while defenseless children gets gunned down the very people who have the guns and training to do law enforcement work.

Pathetic.

I'm pretty sure I didn't say that. I asked whether the room had windows, which the police could have used for attack.

I meant not a single word about that from the news media. I was not criticizing you, of course.

How many here have dealt with an active shooter situation? I suspect the number is zero which includes me so please spare us the Monday morning quarterback expertise.

I live near the Oxford shooting in November. The cops were in the building and had engaged the shooter within ten minutes, and I believe closer to five. The response was phenomenal. They train all the time. It can be done. They were universally praised.

In other words....

I don't know how gourmet chefs prepare a great meal but I know when the food tastes amazing. I might have never dealt with an active shooter situation but I know the difference between Oxford and Uvalda.

The officers should have CONTINUED to keep the killer occupied that would have allow the victims a better change to flee the place but noooo they move away allowing the killer to concentrate on shooting people in the building.

They should be FIRED!
Agreed. I was amazed at that.

I have not either but I know they are all different and there is no paint by the numbers one size fits all way in dealing with them.

But all of your replies are supporting their inaction by saying my suggestion is bad when saving the children is paramount, they should do ALL they can to mitigate it.

Your excuses are crap.

Tactics 101: use cover, concealment, maneuver, suppressive fire and team work to close with the enemy and destroy him.
You can't do that without the proper firearms, equipment and trained officers. Perhaps it was a bad idea to 'defund the police.'

lol you're a moron. Cop hating libertoon bullshit to the contrary, just saw the live press conference with Abbot on the 4 pm news, and there is video of the police officers pulling kids out of windows and escorting them out the doors of the school, so keep babbling they didn't do anything so you can keep looking like the raving uninformed idiots you are.
