Obama nailed it when he said years ago that Russia is a "regional power". That really pissed off KGB Putin and his delusions of grandeur as a superpower.
Obama is a fool. Russia is a superpower (especially if we count power in megatons).
Every day, Putin's armed forces are being depleted through attrition. This is exactly what caused the collapse of the Soviet Union. They could not keep up with the West in the arms race.
You see.... The problem is not about Russia itself. The problem is about Shanghai Pact. And right now, in the global world, 75% of the world (including India, China and Europe) more or less support Russia economically.
And all the while, the leftist pussiess were screaming Reagan was going to start WWIII.
Just like the Trumptard pussies today.
Trump's best friend really is outnumbered and outgunned.
No. Right now this conflict is destroying American, not Russian economy.
In fact, Russia doubles fossil fuel revenues since the start of the current military operation.
Country receives about €62bn from exports of oil, gas and coal in two months, with Germany the biggest importer

Russia, allied with China and India is unbeatable economically. China and India, allied with Russia are unbeatable military. Therefore, American decision-makers shouldn't plan to beat Russia with a carrot or feed Europe (and other allies) with a stick. The USA must prepare to fight Russia military (first of all - in the global all-out nuclear war) and rebuild non-discriminative reliable economy, which can attract new allies, can rebuild our nuclear forces and create enough of potential to rebuild our economy after the war.
Anyway, if Ukraine became a second Afghanistan (scorched land with ruins of the lost civilisations), and Russia leave half of it "independent", some people will say, that it is a victory. But some people will disagree. First of all - it's Ukrainians themselves ("better red than dead" you know). The second group is other Ukrainian neighbours. They won't ask themselves "should we ask Americans to defend us? ", because the answer will be obvious. They will ask themselves: "What can be done, to be not defended by the Americans?"
And this will be the end of NATO.
