UK election results should rule out hard Brexit

Maybe preventing Brexit was exactly the purpose based on "advice" from others. Why would someone push so hard for such a vital election days before the Brexit negotiations? She pushes a fast election based on polls? They had a majority already with 330 seats, so I'm sure there were some anti-Brexits were just hoping she'd fail. It's possible, she's been played by some who wanted her to lose seats.

What makes no sense about people saying Brexit is at risk, is that the far left party was also supportive of and assured the voters that Brexit will happen, one of the reasons some say they made such inroads, since it was no longer an issue to debate. The two parties who overwhelmingly won the vote were both on course for a quick and effective separation from Brexit, so this doesn't change much. She will form a minority with the help of DUP and the show will go on.

She had a 20% lead in the polls. She probably thought that she was a shoe in and would get an extra 5 years.
To be fair to her nobody thought that we would end up here. Its all blown up in her face.

Her problem now is that she has no support anywhere in her party.

She was a remainer who dumped the cause and has pissed off the remainers. She isnt trusted by the brexiteers who think she is ambivalent about brexit.

The tory mps have a huge amount of remainers and she will now have to appease them to get anything through. This isnt where she wanted to be, she wanted a coronation and didnt get it.

Yep. If it were an anti Brexit vote, the remoaners would have voted for the remainers - the Lib Dems, but they overwhelmingly did not.
The important thing now is that the terrorist supporter Comrade Corbyn is still not in power, the DUP are Brexiters, and Brexit will go ahead.

The point was simply to have a popular opinion on the matter. Since the idea of a second referendum didn't strike her as a good idea, a parliamentary election would have given her a "mandate" for hard Brexit, had the results gone even more her way.
