A few hundred aren't squat, out of millions. The media are just making these gimps seem a lot bigger than they are, and probably half or less of them are even students. Berkeley, like Austin and other college towns, are full of deadbeats and and trust fund babies who go there for college and then never leave, they spend 40 years getting that Master's and PhD in basket weaving or whatever as long as they can, so there are always a lot of doper gimps and rent-a-mob employees around the campuses playing 'Radicalz N Stuff' to fill out a crowd. As long as they pretend to be working on 'theses', the school will provide them with housing and a stipend for teaching a couple of freshman classes here and there,
