U.S. Tennis Apologizes For Featuring Nazi-Era Anthem Before Germany's Match | The Huffington Post

The United States Tennis Association apologized on Saturday for introducing a Fed Cup match with a portion of Germany’s national anthem that was once used as Nazi propaganda.

Fans and players appeared visibly upset as an opera singer belted out the controversial, outdated first verse in German: “Germany, Germany, above all, above all in the world.” People attending the event in Hawaii were seen attempting to sing over the performer.

Fuck this weakling. This is still our official national anthem, whether monkeys like it or not. It is our anthem since 1922 and until 1933, when it has been altered by the Adolfs. After Adolf it became our anthem again until 1991, when it was stripped of all strophes but the third. Nevertheless, it is still our anthem, those who apologize must now pray three Our Fuhrers.

All monkeys must leave us alone, everyone puts his own country first, so does a sane German.

Dear monkeys, I apologize for the insults you may have suffered during this post and wish you best wellbeing and plenty of bananas.

you are a monumental dumbass.

The words of the song were pre-WWll popular german tune, and had nothing to do with the nazi's, except they sometimes sang it.

But as usual, the uneducated PC crowd got into a tizzy about it. ...... :cuckoo: ...
Using Google doesn`t mean you`re educated. Even Gomer Bush knew how to use " the internets" so all you have shown is that you`re as smart as him.

The libstains are perpetually butthurt. I laugh so hard at these idiots it makes me feel better.

It is even believed by many Germans that the first strophe is prohibited. This is another fake article of the pc constitution the inner enemy has invented.

You are really fast with your nazi term. Be careful you do not adopt nazi methods to blacklist people.

Another example of how fake news and progressive propaganda have people duped, including the German tennis players themselves. Most Germans are conditioned into being ashamed about being German because of WWII. What they don't realize is their left-wing propaganda is doing the same thing the media was doing in the 1920's and 30's.

germany is allowed to have a national anthem. germany is even allowed to select the words to be sung to its anthem. german tennis players can expect enough professionality even from US Americans to pay attention and be a non-retarded host. that includes playing and singing the correct anthem.

your question is irrelevant, dumbass.

I agree they should had played the modern anthem, but for them to get so butt hurt over it and claim it's the "Nazi anthem" is ridiculous.
