I have to wonder if Abrego Garcia's lawyer is acting in his client's best interest or is using his client to pursue a political end.

His lawyer is Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg, an Ivy League attorney from a prominent DC law firm. Clearly Abrego Garcia cannot afford such legal firepower. Whoever is paying Sandoval-Moshenberg must have selected him for his willingness to damage his nominal client in the interests of the payer.
