Trump's war is just Trump enriching himself

The facts say otherwise. Now what?
What "facts"? The ones you pulled out of your ass?

U.S. Office of Government Ethics

"“President Trump’s investment holdings are maintained exclusively through fully discretionary accounts independently managed by third-party financial institutions with sole and exclusive authority over all investment decisions. Trades are executed and portfolios are balanced through automated investment ‌processes and systems administered by those institutions," a spokesperson for the Trump Organization wrote in an emailed statement."

"Neither President Trump, his family, nor The Trump Organization plays any role in selecting, directing, or approving specific investments. They receive no advance notice of trading activity and provide no input regarding investment decisions or portfolio management of any kind.”

And who believes they are "automated"? Trump is the biggest liar ever to have been in US government, making a statement saying it's just "automated" is probably a lie.

"
There is nothing inherently illegal about a sitting president holding stocks—the criminal conflict-of-interest law that binds nearly every other executive branch official exempts the president.

But for more than half a century, presidents have voluntarily steered clear of the appearance of a conflict, using blind trusts, index funds, or, in Jimmy Carter’s case, liquidation. So what’s notable here isn’t that Trump holds securities, but that the account in his name has been actively trading them."

I didn't understand a thing you said.

Individual words? Yes. Sentences? No.
simple, did he invest in any companies that deals with the military to which a war
with anybody would make them money and thus himself?
Pelosi did this all the time with insider knowledge, why can't trump?
apparently it's not illegal
he would need inside on who would profit the most, you and me can't do that

so I ask ask again, what are you blaming trump for this time?

Eric Trump regarding this matter:

"All of our assets are invested in a blind trust by the largest financial institutions in broad market indexes. To suggest that individual stocks are being bought or sold, at the discretion of any member of the Trump family, would be a lie and blatantly false. Using a silly example, if you buy the 'Schwab 1000,' you will get some exposure to Nvidia — as well as a 1,000 other U.S. companies large- and mid-cap stocks. It's completely disingenuous to represent anything to the contrary."

This accusation is yours. Got proof that Eric Trump's statement above is not true? The burden of proof is on the accuser here.

The difference between Pelosi and Trump is that Pelosi wasn't actually making the decisions.

She couldn't say "I'm going to bomb Iran" and trade is shares right before it.

HOWEVER, I think that any politician with such knowledge should be barred from insider trading.

Also the question: "Is Trump making decisions based on the people, or based on his own personal goals of making money?"

Ah, get proof. You think the Trump family is just going to give proof of this?

Bullshit

And it's funny how you people go around supporting a President who just lies and lies and lies and you never once ask for evidence. I say something where there's quite a bit of circumstantial evidence and you rejected it.

You're like Marathon Mike, he's so ******* pro-war right now, "yeah, let's **** over Iran" and before the election he was praising Trump for not going to war, not increasing inflation etc etc.

When he got massively found out, his response was " ", yeah, he went and ignored what I said because it was so ******* embarrassing.

pelosi and her husband had their ear where it matters, that is how she got very rich
she does not need to make decisions, she just need info ON those decisions

we agree on one thing.....wow, yes if we the people can't do it then nobody in congress should be allowed either

we don't elect them to get inside info and become rich......but they do x10 over

nobody knows, he's already a billionaire, not some Jr senator, how much more money does he need?

he's already established he is rich

Obama arrived with nothing, left office very rich, bought a multi-million dollar home on the coast and another in Hi

yeah, he sure did game the system to "retire" very rich

fun part nobody running for potus is generally poor, not farmers, not a welder, school teacher

but they sure leave much richer than when they started

Presidents are always going to get rich. They can charge a fortune for speaking to rich people.

However Trump seems to be making decisions, like bombing Iran, or not bombing Iran, and playing the market knowing exactly what's going to happen.

"While Trump insisted the Iran war would end ‘soon,’ an account in his name was buying millions in oil, defense, and gold"

"Wall Street, for the first time since the war began, exhaled. Stocks rose. Brent crude plunged nearly 11%. Energy stocks—one of the few reliable winners of the conflict—sold off with oil.

The brokerage account in Trump’s name spent the day buying them."

So, Trump has threatened Iran with all kinds of things, then pulls back, predictably. All the while the stock market is going up and down. And all the while Donald "This is my second term, let's see how much money I can get out of this" Trump is making loads of money

"According to the 113-page periodic transaction report released by the Office of Government Ethics on May 14, Trump’s brokerage account spent that same day buying a sweep of petroleum and gas stocks, including Phillips 66, Exxon Mobil, and Chevron, along with defense and aerospace names like Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics: the companies that stood to profit if the war dragged on.""

Trump seems? so he said lets bomb iran to help the people and stop this regime that has killed many US people in 50 years
yet has time to play the market because he knows the outcome? LOL

giving him some great credit, thus secretly you would love to be in his position making money, right?

if the game is there to play and you have the coin to opt in........well why not, everybody else does
