Trump created policy that anybody wanting to apply for asylum must do so at the US embassy in their country. No longer are they coming to our border, us letting them in, and them never showing up for their court date, thus another illegal alien.

If they do somehow manage to get past Mexico police and to our border, they have to wait in Mexico until the day of their hearing. If they were offered asylum along the way and refused it, they don't get a hearing. They are automatically disqualified for US asylum thanks to our great President Donald Trump.
