Except for the convicted of any crime part. Some on the right would say, "Lucky". Some on the left would say "innocent as if walked on water". I do not know if he is guilty of anything or not, but he has never faced trial, that is for sure. It could be another Republican lawyer thing. They are usually the pits when it comes to proving anything in court, or even convincing anybody to prosecute. Remember, those idiots chased Hillary for years and could not even get a referral together for the justice department, even with Donnie leading cheers of "Lock Her Up". Republican lawyer suck equally in prosecutions, and they do in defense or legal pleadings, such as after the 2000 election. Republican litigators and legislators are typically good at stalling or making sure nobody else does anything, but frequently cannot accomplish jack-sh#t, themselves. "Block and stall" seem to be the only tricks they remember, from back when they used to be normal, reasonable, and above board, before the Trump years. They will still work for anybody, with no constraints due to conscience, but be uniformly mediocre to ineffective, though popular outside of courtrooms on the steps or on FOX NEWS.
