When our country was funded almost entirely on tarrifs, the Post Office w]employed more than half the Federal payroll. There was no Social Security, Medicare, No FDA or CDC, no FBI,CIA,NSA, no Department of Agriculture, Commerce or Labor. The Army had less than 200,000 men, and the Navy consisted of a couple of dozen old ironclads rusting quietly at anchor.

Trump didn’t tell you that.

Instead, he told his flat earth sheep that tarrifs (which they pay) will erase taxes.
