Trump's tariff revenue is on pace for another monthly record in June

Sorry incorrect, the rates had dropped after the gop took the house, but they were on the rise again until Trump took office again. He inherited a inflation rate ticking back up and he reversed it

Not a moment too soon
Haha, nice try. Always got a way to spin. Shall we have the dem house credit for all the economic success yall brag about during the Trump years ?

Seems to me you were the one who brought covid into the economic policy discussion. Try to stay on task Slade

Rates would come down if the tariffs weren’t imposing taxes and higher prices on American consumers. To see y’all cheering tax revue as a good thing is hilarious. You’re now the party of big gov huh?
1. The BBB cut $1.5T off Biden's last budget
2. Tariffs aren't affecting inflation, so rates should be lower
3. Cheering revenue is good, the size of government is getting reduced.

The stock market not only rebounded, it is now higher than ever...and the tariffs are working according to plan....

The U.S. Treasury reported a budget surplus in June, driven in large part by a surge in tariff revenue, thanks to President Donald Trump’s America-first trade policies. The surplus offers a clear reminder that strategic tariffs can strengthen the nation’s bottom line while prioritizing domestic industries and American jobs.

But but but but but

Orange man bad

Tell us how to get manufacturing to return with a fair wage for those who work in those fields. You guys purchased foreign vehicles during the two gasoline problems in the 1970's because the Japanese built smaller cars better. And yet backed the auto unions. Always the talk while you live well and letting others support what you say you do.
People will support jobs coming back but for some reason reject that the same exact product made here is made for a significantly higher wage. Then they say that will drive up the price. Hence the need for unionization.

Tariffs are working.

Trump should be loudly promoting this fact and so should Musk.
