Trump's promises to be kept......or not?

He will be keeping the per existing conditions part of the aca....and other parts as well that he wants to keep. He will change others.

THEN.....an "honest" right winger would state that Trump is NOT repealing the ACA, but AMENDING the ACA........and keep the moniker OBAMAcare.....LOL

Clown, had he lied about an audit someone from the Obama IRS would have exposed it in a femtosecond.

Actually, there HAVE been "leaks" about the fact that there may NOT be an audit.....Proving that rumor would be a bit more difficult, don't you think???

Trump's attorneys were asked to produce......at least....that IRS letter that Trump was under audit....We're all still waiting to see JUST that letter.

so all of a sudden you are going to hold a politician to his campaign promises?

For a Trump who won the election based on telling and promising much to a pissed off portion of the electorate, hell, YES, I would like to know if reality trumps (pardon the expression) rhetoric....
Yeah, holding a wanna-be politician to campaign promises should NOT be a novel idea???
yet you didn't hold Obama to all his promises

That's the problem with the amertican public, no balls at all, vote, and go back home to sit on the couch and wait. The election is just the beginning, then feet must be held to the fire, but the thing is, the american public just wants to sit on its ass and sling blame.

Here's a quick list of Trump's promises.........You choose the ones he will (or not) keep:

1. Will he prosecute Hillary Clinton?

2. Will he release his tax returns after the so-called audit (or was there ever an audit)?

3. Will a 2000 miles wall be built.....and will Mexico pay for it?

4. Will Trump deport 11 million so-called illegals?

5. Will Trump ban the entry of Muslims to our country?

6. Will Trump sever ties with NATO if they don't pay more to the coalition?

7. Will he repeal the ACA.....and what will "replace" it?

8. Will Medicare be privatized?

9.Will Social Security be privatized?

10. Will tax loopholes be eliminated from the tax code?

11. Will all current trade agreements be renegotiated?

12. Will coal miners get their jobs back?

There are many, many more....but for now, the above will do.....

Oh for crying out loud. He's not even sworn in yet. Get back to us in 170 days and we'll have a better understanding.

Here's a quick list of Trump's promises.........You choose the ones he will (or not) keep:
I don't think it matters.

He's already added "amend" to "repeal and replace" for the ACA, and his fans are going to back him no matter what. They flipped like a light switch from "never cooperate with Democrats" to "Trump is a deal maker", so who knows at this point.

You will notice, however, how open they are now that they don't have to give in much, if at all.

So, we just take it issue by issue and hope for the best.
.

Here's a quick list of Trump's promises.........You choose the ones he will (or not) keep:

1. Will he prosecute Hillary Clinton? >>> The President doesn't prosecute anyone. That's the DOJ's job.

2. Will he release his tax returns after the so-called audit (or was there ever an audit)? >>> No law requires him to do so. And why give his enemies like you any thing you can twist and distort?

3. Will a 2000 miles wall be built.....and will Mexico pay for it? >>>No need for a 2,000 mile wall. Part of the wall is already up. Get a clue will you?

4. Will Trump deport 11 million so-called illegals? >>>What does so-called illegals mean? If you break our laws you are an illegal. If someone breaks into your home, do you welcome them, feed them, cloth them and give them a place to sleep?

5. Will Trump ban the entry of Muslims to our country? >>> Until they can be vetted. Do you just let any stranger into your house who rings the bell?

6. Will Trump sever ties with NATO if they don't pay more to the coalition? >>> He should. BTW Obama said the same thing and no fake outrage from you libtards.

7. Will he repeal the ACA.....and what will "replace" it? >>> Yes and will replace it with the free market

8. Will Medicare be privatized? >>> Depends on how.

9.Will Social Security be privatized? >>> It should be. 3% like Bush planned or 10% like FDR wanted.

10. Will tax loopholes be eliminated from the tax code? >>> If it is in the Tax Code it's not a loophole. It's legal. Is turning right on red a loophole for running a red light or is it legal unless otherwise posted?

11. Will all current trade agreements be renegotiated? >>> Man I hope so.

12. Will coal miners get their jobs back? >>> What, you don't care about out of work salesmen, clerks, factory workers, construction workers, engineers and others out of work getting their jobs back? Man I hope all unemployed by Obama's incompetency get their jobs back.

There are many, many more....but for now, the above will do.....
And many more opportunities to introduce to facts and reality. >>> Now if Hillary had won, would you be asking the same kind of questions?

yet you didn't hold Obama to all his promises

As explained before, Obama had complete control of congress for ONLY 4 months during his 8 years of administration......Trump has it all now.........
That is blatantly false.
Doesn't matter there were still more democrats than republicans in the senate so Obama had the majority

You're choosing to conveniently "forget" that a majority is no longer 50 plus one in the senate.
And yet you just claimed that Trump had the senate.

Now you are trying to claim that Obama did not even though his margin was LARGER?

Do you really believe in that small mind of yours that if there was no audit no one in the IRS would have leaked it to the press? It was a golden opportunity for a gotcha, but it didn't happen.

.......and do you REALLY believe that the IRS under the Obama administration has taken MORE than a year to complete that mysterious audit???
I mean, gee......how many IRS agents do we have to get an "opponent's" tax audit completed?
Many. Trump is likely never at a point where he is not being audited. That is what happens when you have thousands of pages of taxes and billions of dollars.

And yet you just claimed that Trump had the senate.

Now you are trying to claim that Obama did not even though his margin was LARGER?

No, my claim is that democrats in the senate were reluctant to radicalize the current rules; something that the current republican senators are itching to do.

Hasn't anybody told you "oh that's too bad"

And yet you just claimed that Trump had the senate.

No, my claim is that democrats in the senate were reluctant to radicalize the current rules; something that the current republican senators are itching to do.
Again, objectively false. They are the ones that played the rules and threatened incessantly that they were going to use the nuclear option. Obamacare was passed by essentially skirting the rules. The Iran deal as well. You have no idea what the republicans are going to do with the rules - Trump has not even taken the oath yet.

Not only have you flatly lied about your claim as you did NOT say anything about rules:
As explained before, Obama had complete control of congress for ONLY 4 months during his 8 years of administration......Trump has it all now.........

You claimed that Trump has control where Obama only had 4 months. Trump does not have control like Obama did at all - there are fewer republican senators than there were democrats for the fist 2 years of Obama's term and he does not have any time with a super majority.

Even after flatly lying about your claim and changing the goal posts, you are STILL incorrect.

Does it matter?

Actually it DOES matter......Trump was the "change" candidate, implying that what a candidate states during the campaign WILL be followed up with implementation ........

Demagoguery versus Reality, DOES matter.

Really? I thought Obama was the "change" candidate?...how many of his campaign promises went unfulfilled? Lets take a quick look.

That's how your system works, the status quo will resist Trump's efforts too. Watch.

1. Will he prosecute Hillary Clinton?

No.

2. Will he release his tax returns after the so-called audit (or was there ever an audit)?

No, and yes there was one.

3. Will a 2000 miles wall be built.....and will Mexico pay for it?

I believe walls will be built and maintained in urban regions and in rural and desert regions you will have sensors and drones... Mexico will not pay for it.

4. Will Trump deport 11 million so-called illegals?

Over time yes. Criminals that have done murder, rape and other felonies first if they are ready for release.

5. Will Trump ban the entry of Muslims to our country?

No. You might have it where countries like Syria will have more requirements but a ban will not happen.

6. Will Trump sever ties with NATO if they don't pay more to the coalition?

No.

7. Will he repeal the ACA.....and what will "replace" it?

Yes, and do not know.

8. Will Medicare be privatized?

No.

9.Will Social Security be privatized?

No.

10. Will tax loopholes be eliminated from the tax code?

No.

11. Will all current trade agreements be renegotiated?

Yes.

12. Will coal miners get their jobs back?

Yes.

Well, thank you for the detailed responses...as usual.

Just a quick question: How do YOU really know there was an audit of Trump's taxes?

The media accepted his audit excuse so I am going off what they accepted as my evidence...

Fact-Check: Donald Trump Can't Release His Taxes While Being Audited?
There is no law preventing you from putting your social security number and all your bank account numbers on the internet. There is no law agaibst you putting all your passwords on line. It is perfectly legal for you to release any information about yourself that you wish.

Should you?

Not when you need to hide something.

I seem to recall a guy named Bill Clinton who, the day after the election, sent out his surrogates to announce he would not be keeping more than 50 of his campaign promises.

I don't...

And even if I did...

Hitler killed 6 million Jews... So is it OK for me to knock of a half a dozen?

That's how your system works, the status quo will resist Trump's efforts too. Watch.

The end of patience with the status quo is in great deal what put trump in office...I suppose many in both houses of congress are feeling twinges of fear for the mid term elections and later if they remain part of the status quo.
