Male bovine excrement! I just watched a live shot of President Trump leaving NATO headquarters with Kelley at his side, both conversing in a friendly and even companionable manner.

The president also promised during his campaign to "drain the swamp." Although many people think he's referring to Congress, the president has also been doing some housecleaning of his own.

The Daily Wire reported that if you are a government employee -- no matter what level, if the president finds out you stink at your job, he will find out and fire you.

It's one piece of news the American taxpayer should be very happy about.

I notice there is very little push back from Trump supporters on Trump's thuggish management style.
Very few Trump supporters lack the ethics, morality, compassion and find pleasure in other's pain like Trump does but they have no problem facilitating Trump.
If Trump can push through their pet issues, who cares how he does it.

I have noticed there is not much push back from Trump's fans on anything. When they read something they don't like, rather than defend their decision, they are too busy tearing into the writer with language that would make a sailor blush. They don't talk about the issues. They talk about the source of their angst, the writer.

Well, let's face it. He's a jerk. He is an alpha male with a serious case of narcissism. He must be the star. It is why he is his own communications directory. It is why he is the leading diplomat, almost as if he had no state department. He does not wish to share the spotlight with his SecState.

Trump does all the talking. When he is not visiting Pyongyang, Pompeo is as quiet as a church mouse. Is John Kelly still the chief of staff? The last time we heard for him was months ago, and that was to tell us he wasn't going to be fired. James Mattis is the most silent SecDef in U.S. history. But then, Trump's entire cabinet is a collection of mutes.

What if Trump used standard diplomatic and political rhetoric? What if he didn't go out of his way to piss off our friends and allies? He would be an ordinary President. Trump can't tolerate ordinary. How do you make a name for yourself if you are President? How do you draw attention to yourself? I already answered the question. The answer is, be a total jerk.

So that is the reason for his moronic rhetoric at the NATO summit. No doubt it is working. There is very little doubt he is the lead jerk at the summit and he attracting a lot of attention.

In Trump's view, that is the perfect scenario.

First, the Republican Senate rebukes Trump ... twice. On Tuesday, the Senate voted 97-2 in favor of a pro-NATO resolution, just as Trump was touching down in Brussels and blasting the security alliance on Twitter for a host of reasons. Senators voted overwhelmingly Wednesday calling on Trump to get congressional approval before using national security as a reason for imposing tariffs on other nations, as he did recently with Canada, Mexico, and the EU.

Trump got caught in a lie as he left Brussels. Hailing himself as a “stable genius,” he took “total credit” for persuading his allies to increase military spending beyond established markers — a claim that was immediately undercut by European leaders. “I told people I’d be very unhappy if they didn’t up their commitments very substantially,” he said.

Macron of France rejected Trump’s assertion that the NATO allies had agreed to anything that was not already in place. “A communiqué was issued yesterday,” Mr. Macron said. “This communiqué is clear. It reaffirms the 2 percent by 2024 commitments. That’s all.” The commitment to the 2% level was made in 2014, over two years before Trump took office.

Of course, Trump often acts like the class clown. He thinks he is being funny.

Then Trump himself revealed that nearly everything he said at the summit, his consistent threats to weaken the alliance, was all a lie. He signed a joint statement that largely reaffirmed existing commitments, and pledged on Thursday that the United States commitment to NATO “remains very strong.”

Everything else was merely Trump theatrics, Trump being Trump. In other words, all he did was embarrass himself with meaningless rhetoric that indicated very little knowledge or experience. Other leaders put up with him because they had no other choice. Trump's associates, Kelly, Pompeo, and the U.S. envoy to NATO, Kay Bailey Hutchison, often looked the other way and said nothing.

Americans as a whole were embarrassed by Trump's performance.
