Wages are not too high here in any way. Do you believe american workers should make the same products here for the same wage as overseas workers?

Right now, nobody. They are earning market rate.
I'm retired. I worked over 40 years many in the corporate world. How they talked of their employees was disgusting. Corporations care nothing about people. They suppressed wages big time.

No but the places I worked for always complained about labor costs, and they were lying big time. I'm glad some of them ended up shutting down after I retired. Prayers answered.

If you didn’t own your own business, you are clueless.
I owned my own business. If I overpaid my staff (relative to the market rate), I would have had to raise my prices to make up for the additional hit on COGS. That means I would no longer be competitive, and unltimately fail. My employees would lose their jobs.
By paying the market rate, I provided incomes for five people, including myself.
So . . . . no different than Biden the past four years?
One difference. Biden was showing signs of aging. Trump is showing signs of demented.

oil prices are at the point where fracking is so wat profitable. And Big Oil is consolidating the wildcatters in order to control the market.
Drive oil prices down and American wells will be the first es capped, as te are the highest cost producers.
Trump’s morons don’t understand that. They have their trope. Facts won’t get in the way.
So when gas doesn’t go down to $1.00, they’ll have to make up an excuse, preferably one that involves their fuhrer being the “victim”

What we do know is that prices for gas will drop under Trump, and they would rise under Biden's "war on energy".

They should have never been raised in the first place because it just threw gasoline on the inflation fire but you can't really go back in time (yet). So, we keep wages the same and let the economy grow around the mistakes we already made and learn our lesson that every time you raise wages to combat inflation, it causes more inflation.

So bottom line is this. The rich do well regardless of which party is in charge. Democrats care more about poor and middle class people. Poor and middle class people don't realize that yet but they will soon enough.
The promise he made yesterday that I liked was that he was going to get rid of foreign gangs in America. That sounds great but he made the exact same promise 8 years ago.
