I don't think that he thinks he knows more than the generals. I think he was making the point, that he would have a more aggressive policy with regards to them.
Which is what actually happened.
If it were a one time event you might have a point, but the fact that he has claimed to know more about a dozen or so thing than anyone else ever, shows that it is more than hyperbole and something he truly believes.
No, it shows that he is a massive user of hyperbole.
There is nothing in the definition of hyperbole, that limits how many times a day it can by done, or any such limiting factor.
You just made that up. Out of nothing.
Perhaps you are right and he is just not very smart so hyperbole is all that he has. A one trick pony as they say.
Let's go with that, Trump is a moron who knows 1 trick...does that seem better to you? That he is a moron vice a liar or narcissist?
I've often wondered what it says about the New York Real Estate Market/Field, that such bluster and hyperbole, seems to have worked for Trump so well so long.
I can see what it says about the state of civil discourse in our political system, that it works.
Scott Adams talked a lot in the lead up to the election, about the tools that Trump was bringing to the campaign. A lot of interesting stuff on "stacking" of tools, so to speak.
ANd IMO, it compares quite favorably to what the rest of the politicians have.
