No, I disagree. They told the CIA to go make stuff look different, and that's what they did. Bush etc did know this was the case and did cherry pick, but the CIA did play its part.

Exactly. The intel community claimed Saddam had WMD...and then the MSM gladly went along with it, as did nearly all R and D politicians.
