Trump — We’re going to look into Ashli Babbitt case.

yes

the stupidity and incompetence of the rent-a-cop that shot her.
She was told to stand down and didn't. She climbed that door hoping to get in and unlock the door to let in the mob.
Stupid. Got shot in the neck for it.

Dumb Ways To Die....(think there's a song about that). :)

If the White officer gave multiple warnings not to rush him and he the woman had a angry mob behind her.
And she still broke through the door...

It is justified... Not nice...

But blame Trump & Co, he and others filled her head with shit....
So I am open to a public enquiry, as public as possible...
Bring her mother to the stand she has said publicly:
"made the ultimate sacrifice to bring attention to a stolen election"

Problem is the election wasn't stolen... She was killed because of a lie spread by Trump.

No...we know all too well, if the cop had been white and that was a black democrat woman coming through the window and she was killed, there would be riots in the streets and buildings would be burning. You KNOW this to be true. It would be called a racist killing, and they would be saying the same thing i am..there were other avenues he could have taken.

learn about use of deadly/lethal force.

the rent-a-cop murdered her.

Bullshit.

But understand this.

Had that been a mob of black folks attacking the Capitol? There would have been hundreds dead

White privilege saved a lot of white lives that day

the rent-a-cop murdered her.
Learn about the word "STOP!!". Said multiple times. More than enough chances.
My guess is that you would have gotten the message. But she was a true believer.
There was no bringing her back. Sad.

But hey, let's go all fascist. Who gives a shit about all the cops (we're the party of law and order..cough, cough..BULLSHIT). After all, she was just. She was on the side of righteousness. She believed the lie. And died. Too bad.

Bullshit.

It's not bullshit. Has there been a killing of a black person on the news where it HASNT been labeled as a racial killing? Of course not. They are ALL labeled as racial.

now that's just silly, there would have been no massacre. Look at the riots of 2020 where there were ample amount of black people involved. Were any of them "mowed down"? No, of course not.

A center mass shot hit her in the center… her shoulder and went into her neck.

Tough shit

Should Byrd have said “oh wait in that window for a minute while I go get a stun gun”?

Center mass is not the shoulder. If he couldn't hit her in the chest or upper abdomen from 6 feet away, he should have had more training.

If the only weapon that Byrd had available was a firearm, maybe he shouldn't have been there. He wasn't the only officer in that hallway that day. Someone else might have had something else. If he had no taser, why wasn't he properly equipped? Are you saying in the middle of a riot, they only thought to bring lethal weapons? That raises some questions of its own, if true.

They stood outside that door for several minutes, long enough to assess the situation and maybe get some tear gas canisters or some pepper spray up there to at least try and dissuade the crowd.

? Don't you think? Or do you think deadly force was the only answer?

What???

Your first paragraph is literally insane.

The second is just stupid

You’re pretty inventive with your little scenarios.

She tried to breech a police barricade protecting Congress and paid the price for that.

End of story

A. It doesn’t make me warm and fuzzy. I just don’t care. She was scum

It's hard to tell, I mean you all do have reputation for celebrating people who get murdered....like a Healthcare CEO..

B. You can claim anything you like (because you’re a dishonest partisan) but no. There were not other avenues to deal with her.

Sure there were. They should have all been equipped to deal with a riot situation, which doesn't mean only having lethal force. If that is the ONLY option Byrd had, then he shouldn't have been at the door. The idea isn't to kill rioters..it's to deter them.

Had they been properly equipped, there would have been other options.

She was leading a mob through the last barricade protecting Congress from that mob.

Yep, and a taser or some chemical repellant probably would have stopped her.

She asked for what she got

Tough shit

well, if you aren't warm and fuzzy over it, it's certainly evident you have no concern over the killing of your political adversary....

Where is center mass when you’re crouching in a window dickhead?

And no. I have zero concern for the stupid bitch

She got what she asked for

So your answer then, is, the only option they should have considered was deadly force?

Byrd did not have a taser on his person.

Not all cops do.

Every barricade up to that point had been breeched because the cops used less than lethal force in trying to stop them.

There was no other place to retreat to.

The Congressional chambers were feet away with Congressmen still in them.

So no. Allowing that mob to breech that last barricade was not an option.

And guess what. The attack stopped once that gun fired.
It was the first time all day that the mob was held back

Center mass is chest and upper abdomen.

I mean, looks like she was upright enough to make a center mass shot. Even if she was crouched, and her knees were blocking her abdomen, he could have still aimed for center mass, even if he ended up hitting her in the knee caps. That would have ended her attempt to crawl through the window.

You piece of shit. You’ll just say anything.

First of all you have a five foot woman in a three foot window . It’s basically ALL CENTER MASS

Second how far do you think your chest is from your shoulder? Moron

FUCK OFF

Byrd did not have a taser on his person.

That's my point. If the only option he had was lethal force, maybe another officer should have been there?

And why is it that lethal force WAS the only option he had? They had no non lethal devices in the capitol building? Their means to quell a riot was to just shoot everyone?
Not all cops do.

In a riot situation, they should be properly equipped, shouldn't they?

Every barricade up to that point had been breeched because the cops used less than lethal force in trying to stop them.

Apparently not really much resistance, hell, there were officers in the stairwell with the rioters...some of them were giving guided tours! Lol.

There was no other place to retreat to.
Actually there was one more area, and that was the senate chamber. The door they breached lead to a hall with more doors, one of which was the senate chamber door.

Now, I agree, they should have been stopped long before that; with non lethal means. I don't know...had they had a few thousand national guardsmen there, NONE of this would have happened in the first place.

The Congressional chambers were feet away with Congressmen still in them.

So no. Allowing that mob to breech that last barricade was not an option.

I agree, they should have sprayed the shit out of them with pepper spray..that would have probably backed all of them up.

Anyone trying to crawl through the windkw gets tased, if THAT fails, then you start shooting.

And guess what. The attack stopped once that gun fired.
It was the first time all day that the mob was held back

OK, so then you agree that the best way to stop a violent mob is with deadly force? Is that the road were going down?

Just fuck off
