What Egypt and Jordan don't want is another huge influx of refugees that could destabilize their countries and economies. If Gaza can be bombed with the population in it, it can be built with the population remaining there who want to remain and it is those who should be involved.

Yes, I’ve brought that up many times to people like Coyote, who poo-poo it by saying “that’s in the past.” The point, of course, is the glaring double standard, as they bring up 1948 a lot. That’s in the past as well.

It seems to me that the Arabs owe Israelis a TON of money. They took over their land when they drove them out, took their homes, their furniture, every last belonging.

At the minimum, Egypt should take in the Gazans. In the late 50s, they expelled every single Jew from their country, ON 24 HOURS NOTICE (!), and FORCED them to sign contracts deeding over their land and all assets. The fair thing to do would be for them to accept their fellow Arabs, and leave Israel to the land it won back when Egypt attacked them in 1967.
