Nobody is reading a 5000, 2000, or even a 1000 page bill in, 48 or 72 hours or whatever time frame they have. Have you actually tried to read one of these bills? With all the references to other sections of the bill, all the cuts and inserts, paragraph and section directions... .basically, it would take a team of people 3 months to read and cross reference from all the other bills that these bills make reference to, change, and add to, and to go through all of the information contained in a bill that is thousands of pages long.
