Yea. Is there anything more on brand for 2026 than for the President to fall asleep while one of his top healthcare ministers, Dr Oz, speaks to reporters about the link between obesity and dementia? The President was seen dozing off and nodding forward in his chair while Dr. Oz, Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, was speaking at a televised White House event.

Check out social media for footage and viral photos of the event. Trump slumped over and kept his eyes closed for extended periods while Dr. Oz discussed plans to cut the costs of weight-loss drugs. We really need to stop electing people in their 70s and 80s, as a minimum

On a personal note I just retired at the ripe old age of 56 (I'm 57 now). In teaching this is VERY OLD and I was always asked, "When are you going to retire?" I got to the point where I told people, "Hey, I'd be a spring chicken if I were in Congress. I'd have 30 more years to go."

Shut them up pretty fast in fact.
