Trump Was Asked About A Key Promise. What Followed Was Pure Gibberish

2 minor agreements in 90 days. He still hasn't even come close with China which stretches back to his first administration.

We can once again point out he called the person who signed off on the Canada/Mexico deal a fool. (and it was him)
Remind me again how many trade deals that were good for the US, Joe Biden got signed in 4 years, Pk?

Remind me again where I ever supported anything (other than getting us out of Afghanistan) that Biden did?

You as so many others show your complete brainwashing.

The inconvenient truth for you on the left is that Trump is really good with the economy. Sorry, but he is! I know you loath the man but if claiming he's taking too long to get better deals for the US is your biggest complaint about his economic policies, then you really need to attack him on a different subject. Just saying...

Ah yes...another liberal who never supported Biden! My goodness...how DID that man get more votes than anyone in the history of American politics! It's mind boggling!

He's gotten more done in six months than any President in US history. My words. :)

Just think what he'll be able to get done in the next 3 years once the Left is no longer able to use liberal judges to hold up his agenda! Oh my gosh, PK! The HORROR! :)

Obama made no such promise.

He knew that the GOP Congress would never go along. Which is why the minimum wage hasn't been raised in decades.

As for Trump on tarrifs.

He is not going to "get off the pot". He will continue to dither.

He (and his base) were dumb enough to believe that the world would come to his feet once he threatened them with draconian tarrifs.

Instead, the Chinese called his bluff. After a while, everyone else did too.

There was no stampede of trade officials to DC to kiss the ring. Peter Navarro was wrong (not much of a surprise there).

Trade limbo will continue, until it is largely forgotten.

Trump got what he really wanted. A couple of weeks worth of sound and fury on social media and Fox Noise, signifying not much at all.

This is the kind of thing that makes this President, and the country he represents, increasingly irrelevant on the world stage.
Obama very much did make that promise and delivered zero

May 1, 2014 — The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office estimated that the bill would raise the wages of 16.5 million Americans and lift 900,000 of them out of poverty.

On a nearly party-line vote of 54-42, Obama's Democrats fell short of the needed 60 Senate votes to end a procedural roadblock against a White House-backed bill.
The legislation would raise the minimum hourly wage from its current $7.25 to $10.10 per hour during the next three years, and then index for inflation in the future.

Obama had a democratic congress that passed Obamacare that never took up MW. Blaming what he didn't do when he was in the position to do it for two full years on the GOP that was in no position to stop it until the midterms is just silly.

Gee, Nuthin'...do you think Barry didn't know that there was no way he'd get a nearly three dollar increase through Congress? Oh my goodness...if he DID know that and promised it anyways...wouldn't that be him LYING to naive voters so he could get elected? Say it isn't so! Not Saint Barry!

Doesn't matter, when MW was taken up.
Republicans BLOCKED it.

The president rambled, boasted, appeared to immediately contradict his own comments and more.

‘Trump was asked by a reporter on Monday to explain what had happened to his administration’s promise to seal “90 deals in 90 days” with trading partners.

Instead of outlining the dozens of deals with foreign countries that he previously boasted would be completed by Wednesday — the 90-day mark since his so-called Liberation Day in April — the president just waffled, talked about a couple of frameworks and possible deals in place and then appeared to suggest his plan now mainly involved sending letters to foreign governments and telling them the tariffs that their products will now be subject to when they are imported into America.’

Trump is unfit to be president; worst president in US history.
You gullible, glue huffers spend way too much time with goofy conspiracy theories.

Interesting. So when Democrats controlled the House, Senate and the White House and DIDN'T do anything to raise the Minimum Wage...that doesn't matter...but when the GOP controlled the House and Barack Obama KNEW that they wouldn't allow a $3 an hour increase THAT was when he pledged to raise the Minimum Wage? Are you really that stupid, Nuthin'? Obama made that pledge (which he knew would never happen!) for the votes of naive people like yourself!

So you rate that post as "fake news" Nuthin' but don't say what's fake about it? Typical...
