It's very sad and pathetic.

Just like everything else, trump has lied about health care. He never had a plan. There was never a big beautiful health care plan that will be cheaper and better than Obamacare.

None of it was actually true.
It is not just the outright arrogance of the lie but how readily Trump followers support it

Once President Trump is reelected and he gets a half dozen new SCOTUS justices on board and admits East Utah and Central Oklahoma into the union for the 4 new Republican Senators, he'll be able to be a lot more candid.

Obviously you don't understand how things work with all that talk about Utah and Oklahoma, but the increase in Supreme Court justices sounds good to me.

If President Trump is reelected, will you still support more Supreme Justices? BTW, the proposed admission of Puerto Rico and DC are based upon the number of leftists in those areas. Why not admit new Conservative States?
Puerto Rico and DC are not currently represented in Congress.

DC is mentioned in the Constitution as a non-state area for the seat of the Federal Government. If DC is admitted as a state, they should move the capital some place else.

Isn't the plan to lower premiums and allow doctors to do their jobs? Lower prescription costs? I don't want another national boondoggle that cranks up prices and lowers care. That is kind of the point.

Blank pages is what it should be. The Govt. has no business in Health Care. You won't find anywhere in the Constitution the word health care.

Health care should be kicked back to the private sector where it belongs.

That's the real problem with the ACA. It was a one party plan where huge sections of the country had no say whatsoever in constructing it. The Republicans, example given, proposing prohibiting Convicted Child Molesters from receiving free ED drugs under O'care. The D's turned it down, unanimously.
Policies about convicted child molesters and ED drugs isn't health care policy, it's publicity and grandstanding.

Republicans were given the opportunity to participate, they started to, then were threatened by their party and backed out.

Max Baucus, in the spring of 2009, signaled his desire to find a bipartisan compromise, working especially closely with Grassley, his dear friend and Republican counterpart, who had been deeply involved in crafting the Republican alternative to Clintoncare. Baucus and Grassley convened an informal group of three Democrats and three Republicans on the committee, which became known as the “Gang of Six.” They covered the parties’ ideological bases; the other GOPers were conservative Mike Enzi of Wyoming and moderate Olympia Snowe of Maine, and the Democrats were liberal Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico and moderate Kent Conrad of North Dakota.

Baucus very deliberately started the talks with a template that was the core of the 1993-4 Republican plan, built around an individual mandate and exchanges with private insurers—much to the chagrin of many Democrats and liberals who wanted, if not a single-payer system, at least one with a public insurance option. Through the summer, the Gang of Six engaged in detailed discussions and negotiations to turn a template into a plan. But as the summer wore along, it became clear that something had changed; both Grassley and Enzi began to signal that participation in the talks—and their demands for changes in the evolving plan—would not translate into a bipartisan agreement.

What became clear before September, when the talks fell apart, is that Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell had warned both Grassley and Enzi that their futures in the Senate would be much dimmer if they moved toward a deal with the Democrats that would produce legislation to be signed by Barack Obama.

The real story is Obamacare was written by the pharmaceutical and insurance industries. Obama was scared to death to cross them.

Do you have any evidence to support this claim?

I always do.

And in large part because of Tauzin’s deal making and the millions of dollars at his disposal, the Affordable Care Act — with the blessing of President Barack Obama and Democratic leaders in Congress — was written in a way that boosts drug company profits while doing little to make prescription medications more affordable for the vast majority of Americans. In fact, drug prices are going up at a faster clip than ever before.

I'm not sure how you could not understand that I am for an expanded court. More seats means the change of one or two justices won't make a drastic change in the court. There has been a movement to give statehood to Puerto Rico and DC for a long time. Has nothing to do with partisanship. For now, Puerto Rico hates trump, but they loved Reagan.

The constitution will have to be changed or the capitol will have to be moved for DC to ever become a state. Article 1 Section 8 prohibits our capitol to be in a state or treated like a state giving exclusive authority over the capital to congress.

Puerto Rico can become a state and I'm sure they want to become a state. They pay taxes to our government. They should have representation in our government.

Guam is the same. They can become a state too. They pay federal taxes too. They also have no representation or say in our government.

I agree on expanding the court. It will bring balance and hopefully prevent what the republicans have done from happening in the future.

So when President Trump is reelected next month and then puts forth a bill to bring 6 more justices aboard, you'd have no problem with that?

What's the problem? Any successful Health Care Program can't be written by one person or party. It has to be a Bipartisan effort.

That's the real problem with the ACA. It was a one party plan where huge sections of the country had no say whatsoever in constructing it. The Republicans, example given, proposing prohibiting Convicted Child Molesters from receiving free ED drugs under O'care. The D's turned it down, unanimously.

The problem? Trump said he had a great health care plan that everyone was going to love and was going to be the best health care plan ever ready to go.

We are still waiting.

It got voted down. The Democrats reached across the aisle for John McCain and stopped it. They didn't like Trump's idea of Tremendous Health Care with unlimited choice and unbelievable savings.

They preferred to support the ACA, and its Sky High Deductibles and Premiums, as well as limited choice.

Obamacare had to be shitcanned first to make room for Trump Care. The country isn't big enough to have two programs.

No it didn't. The plan people had before Obamacare didn't have to end before Obamacare passed, But there is always the excuses for your politicians failures and lies.

No dumb ass. What got voted down was just another attempt to kill ACA. They had nothing to replace it with at the time, and they still have nothing to replace it with.

“Repeal and replace”

Another Trump con.

You have to repeal first, before you replace.

Unless the O'care Atrocity is repealed, the Democrats have no motivation to work in a bipartisan manner for a replacement. Capische?

Remember to a Leftard, the ACA has everything they love. Telling people what to do. Making them buy products they don't want. Free abortions and contraception. Free Sex Change Operations.

That photo shopped picture has been around for years. John McCain musta been shitting his RINO drawers since he was the one that killed Trumps single payer insurance plan when it was in committee. That's why Trump hated him. Another fact the liberal media hides from the American people.
