Let's examine what Trump said:
"I'm going to open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money," he said. "We're going to open up those libel laws. So when the New York Times writes a hit piece which is a total disgrace or when the Washington Post, which is there for other reasons, writes a hit piece, we can sue them and win money instead of having no chance of winning because they're totally protected."
What does that mean, if it doesn't mean changing the laws themselves?
Do you think that there are no libel laws? Do you think the Constitution (you're a leftist, Allah knows you've never read it.) prohibits the application of defamation laws against the yellow journalism of the DNC press?
Explain why the party controlled NY Times should be exempt from libel laws that would apply to Republicans and commoners?
Look, I know you leftists believe in very different laws for party members than are applied to commoners, but Trump suggesting that the party press be subject to the laws that govern the rest of us isn't all that outrageous.
