The FBI should handle violent criminals as it's main goal, those who flee cross state lines and commit federal crimes.

I think what is going on is that the Trump Admin and its supporters realized that being college -educated did not prevent massive corruption and political weaponization of the FBI (and in fact, there was apparently a cause and effect thing there..)

So why not hire more everyday folks who may not have ever thought that getting a liberal indoctrination- "education" was important (which it isn't).

Most colleges do not teach, they indoctrinate and basically force leftists ideas on the students, who then may graduate without knowing a noun from a verb but they know how hideous the Republicans are- and that's what counts.

Austin Police Academy is eight months, then 3 months of FTO training. Please explain on what planet, reducing the FBI Academy by two thirds is a good idea? If you thinks its all DEI (thats stupid on its face) add more in depth education of other subjects. These are supposed to be the best investigators on the planet.

Those people will be involved in direct law enforcement, not investigations which can be taught on the job.

The FBI does Investigations, not beat cops. Its in the name - Federal Bureau of Investigations. They literally are the investigation guys.

That's as dumb as comparing prison guards to the FBI.

When you just go into a ******* office, you can be mentored after your initial training. For beat cops and guards that doesn't work.

I'd be more worried that guard training is too short, not that the FBI basic training is too short.
