Your hostility is to intelligenceThe only given here is your hostility to education and educated people.
Now all you have to do is hate Trump.Once upon a time, you had to be a lawyer to become an FBI agent.
There are many brilliant people without college degrees. The question is one of training and qualifications. Why would you hire someone to investigate financial crimes who did not have a background in finance or degrees in forensic accounting? The FBI is the elite criminal investigative unit in the US. Why would they hire someone who couldn’t pass home ec in high school? You think that makes us safer?I'm curious, JLW...what Democrat is it that you want to hold up as your shining example of what "higher education" does for people? AOC? Jasmine Crockett? Adam Schiff? Kamala Harris? Hakeem Jeffries? I hate to break this to you but that piece of paper you hang on the wall doesn't make you smart. It also doesn't make you competent. We're becoming a meritocracy again and that's not a bad thing.

This is the important part:Sounds to me, like right wing MAGA supporting applicants, can't pass the tests, so "dumb it down" becomes the answer. Duh![]()
Patel has an undergrad, an British legal certificate, a JD in law and passed the Bar.
If you want to point fingers, look no further that what colleges are teaching these days. Colleges are lowering standards as with high school and other professions because of DEI. For example, I thought I would never live to see the day that taking the MCAT test for entrance into medical school is an option or airlines wanting more diverse pilots because too many white dudes are pilots. Fixing the damages caused by DEI is not an overnight fix. When Private and government institutions are seeking a diverse force, standards must be lowered and society pays the price.Once upon a time qualifications mattered.

Duh! It is about lowering standards and qualifications in general. It is not just educational requirements being lowered but training requirements as well. You seem to be totally lost as to what is being attempted here.Opening up the job to people without college degrees, is not saying that people WITH degrees are not allowed to apply or be hired.
And your talk of not passing home ec?
Seems you are trying to lie about what is happening.

You're an idiot. My post dealt with the actual amount of training they would be getting. Eight weeks? Thats nothing in comparison to regular beat cops. You are acting like you don't understand the op.
removing a restriction, does not mean REVERSING the restriction.
Hiring is not going to be now, 100%, people without degrees.
Try to be less dishonest.
That made sense, when colleges were not dominated by leftard assholes.
Why do they need a college degree?
All good pointsWhy indeed? All you have to do is wear a face mask and be handy with a truncheon.
And they cut the training program by one third, too.
