Oh, spare me the platitudes and touchy-feely psychobabble... it's a referral line... and someone suicidal is best referred to local psychiatric help or an EMT or police officer or social worker or emergency room... same as anyone else in that regard.

Support and treatment come from other sources, not Hotlines... the Hotline merely talks someone out of the trees then refers them elsewhere.

And a staff trained to deal with generic suicide-prevention issues can handle a Sexual Deviant just as well as a Normal Person.

Because it's either a SCAM to get money from unhappy or suicidal people, or its to brainwash them.

There is NO HELP with these phone services.

And to prove my point, I called the one here in Dallas.
I called up "crying" and telling them I didn't want to live anymore.

This is the EXACT response I got from the shitbag on the other end of the phoneline.....
"Well, I don't know what you expect ME to do about it".

Regardless of my acting prowess..........I didn't expect THIS answer. I was in shock, I couldn't respond to that, so I just hung up.

These "hotlines" are nothing more than scammers looking to use a certain type of person for their own amusement or profit gain.

Like 90% of the "charities" out there..........these "helplines" are nothing but scams.

You've got your story which was unfortunate. Others have theirs, which shows if handled correctly it can save lives. So why not fight to do it better instead of inaccurately demeaning the entire system?
