Great.
But how did they deal with the protesters?
How did they get all those judicial warrants?
When ICE is wrong, they are wrong. Every law enforcement agency has incidents in which officers make mistakes and even deliberately violate people's rights.
But the protesters are protesting that ICE is detaining illegals, which is their job, not that ICE breaks the law. They are protesting that ICE is doing under Trump what you yourself say they did a lot more of under Biden and OBama, without some very brief grumbling from the left, but no violence.
The protesters become violent and ICE officers are much more prone to make mistakes when that happens. One person struck an ICE officer with her vehicle and another person attacked ICE officers while carrying a loaded gun. Those are facts, no matter how much anyone hates Donald Trump.
Did the ICE officers respond perfectly and by the book? Maybe not. An investigation will settle that question, and if consequences are appropriate for any of the officers, they should be appled.
What we do know is that each of those individuals themselves started the chain of events that led to their deaths. They did it in the heat of the moment, which increased the probability that they would make a mistake, just as it increased that possibility for law enforcement.
Let's dial down the heated rhetoric about ICE and have a calm discussion, so we don't make mistakes also.
