Trump to Deploy "Surge" ICE Agents to Airports for Security Operations

I would kind of find it interesting if the democrat judges were to rule that this isn't ICE's job or function because it would then beg the question, "Then what is ICE's job or function? Let them answer that question. Same thing with the national guard.
PROTECTING AMERICA YOUR HONOR

Mission: Protect America through criminal investigations and enforcing immigration laws to preserve national security and public safety.
Vision: DHS’s premier law enforcement agency, mitigating transnational threats and safeguarding our nation, communities, lawful immigration, trade, travel, and financial systems.

Sorry my government is literally protecting a global cabal of pedophiles
Nope. Biden and the democrats sat on Epstein files for four years, no judicial interest in forcing them to release them. Those people are not in power any more. This admin has released more files than anyone else and all we hear from democrats is crickets because those same released files are exposing THOSE democrat pedos. LOL, your political bias failed again.

Trump has openly begged his supporters to forget the files, said that it's a hoax, etc. He even called you stupid. They are redacting and hiding entire terabytes of data and you want me to be happy they've released, by the DOJ's own count, less than 1% of the files? And with MAJOR redactions?

If Congress is content to letting Americans’ security at airport be strained, Trump will consider using ICE agents to handle TSA mission at Airports.

It really continuously amazes me how with our millions of laws written, how easily time and again, our very government still finds ways of tripping over their own feet, hosing up the whole nation, and yet, everyone in Washington stands around mouth open, slack-jawed, lost for worlds on how to fix anything.

Government has a contingency for everything except itself--- no provision on who has what power to do what if this branch or that branch does this or doesn't do that.

This is not rocket science people---
  1. You immediately cut all funding, pay and benefits to those refusing to restore government. Restore a functioning government, then you have 30 days to resolve a permanent solution or else.
  2. Individuals in government found to be purposefully blocking government not doing their jobs are removed from office, all pay and benefits cancelled.
  3. Beyond 30 days, you call an emergency meeting, borrow funds from another agency (Dept of Agriculture?) (Musk also offered to pay TSA), and/or send other people in (ICE, NG, etc.) to fill these positions.
Any employer in business has performance standards--- don't meet them and out the door you go, so why not government?
I cannot imagine it takes much brains nor training in order to feel up or x-ray passengers to board a plane.

Also, why can't they simply institute emergency procedures to speed the screening up? Stop wasting time worrying whether a grandmother with cancer in a wheelchair is a terrorist and focus on the young, male muzzies.

One lawmaker, Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., told reporters on Friday that Republicans offered Democrats a new proposal this week.

“We’ve offered body cams, more training, limiting arrests for sensitive areas like churches and hospitals and so forth, schools, it’s a long list,” Hoeven said. “I think the Democrats need to come back to us now and talk to us about what they’re willing to do.”

Once again, the shutdown has nothing to do with any realistic expectations on the part of Democrats. They are shutting down over and over for the same reason every time: They fear the most radical element of their own party will go after them if they don't.

Great use of ICE handling my bags. Let’s be honest - if you put a TSA agent and an ICE agent in the same room you wouldn’t know which fatty was eating the donuts.

Profiling works.

Profiling works.

Just ask the Israelis. I used to have a buddy who constantly traveled worldwide in his work. He actually had a special pass to bypass the usual TSA screening and go right onto the plane. He used to tell me how much more together screening was in Israel. There, instead of stop and suspect and screen EVERY SINGLE PERSON no matter what, the Israelis instead use an intelligent screening process where they profile likely would-be terrorists and hijackers.

Turns out is is NEVER some little kid nor a grandmother with cancer in her wheelchair.

By moving ICE off the streets he’s doing what DEMs want…
And you think that is brilliant? WW
I'm not sure how many illegals try to fly, but that number should be a lot less if ICE is checking IDs.
Will the crazies be there with their whistles and bullhorns?

Who cares? Put them in airports to check bags. Great use of fatties.

Trump Drops New Ultimatum: Fund DHS or ICE Moves Into Airports

21 Mar 2026 ~~ By Ward Clark

The seeming impasse over funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is causing havoc in the nation's airports, with long lines at Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints, as TSA employees are working without pay, and some of them are starting to walk off the job. We can scarcely blame them for not caring to work for free.
Now, President Trump is looking to prod Democrats into getting DHS funded by threatening to put Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in the airports in place of the unpaid TSA workers. And, as you might expect, the ICE agents will be arresting any illegal aliens they encounter on the spot.

~Snip~
Now that's an interesting notion. It's unclear if the president has the legal authority to do this, but TSA and ICE are both under the control of the executive branch and therefore answer, ultimately, to the president - so he very well might.
~Snip~
Note that this will not only make Democrats' heads explode, but it may actually relieve some of the pressure on travelers. Speaking as one who was a more-or-less professional traveler for many years, a long journey in the friendly skies is already stressful enough without waiting for two or three hours in the screening line. If President Trump is able to get those lines staffed and running, most travelers will remember that - not that a few illegal aliens got scooped up in the process. It's also a safe bet that illegals won't risk their illegal residency by strolling into an airport where ICE is doing the screening.
Two birds, one stone.
Note also the president's emphasis on Minnesota, where he calls out in particular Governor Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar (MN-05). That has to have Minnesota Democrats in a tizzy, and that's worth doing, every day and twice on Sunday.
~Snip~
Prediction: If the president orders this, look for some tame Democrat-appointed judge to issue an injunction against ICE agents taking up TSA's duties in airports within a matter of days - maybe hours.

Commentary:
Love the idea.
Mainly because I like hearing about Democrat heads exploding. It's so appealing I would like him to do it even if they fund DHS.
Trump is such a genius. Whoever would have thought about doing this? Just brilliant.
What better way to give them a stroke than sending ICE agents to airports?
Back after 9/11, it was Democrats who were in the majority, that refused to hold a vote to create TSA, until they were allowed to be unionized. Democrats don't care much about National Security, but they sure do care about union money in their pockets.
Just in:

Sure, let ICE do an honest day's work.

I think liberals, and democrats, and MAGA, and GOP, and all good Americans agree.

This is great news. We can spend $80B getting our bags checked for liquid shampoo. This is Trumps best idea yet. 7th level chess. lol

Schumer is losing his shit. Democrats need suffering and misery in order to move their agenda forward - even if it means compromising American Security and the salaries of TSA workers.

That is a sick attitude from your Party.

I don’t care what you think. Fat ICE agents at airports is awesome. The lines are long now. Maybe they can move them along.

How many pages have you read? None? I rest my case. Run along. Every victim that has been questioned as well as both Hilarity and Bill Clinton have exonerated your TDS target of any wrong doing. Try again.

This is an inconsequential internet forum. You don't have to work so hard to protect the files :itsok:
