the study in the link was conducted nearly 2 yrs ago when Dems were getting exactly what they wanted from the leadership in DC and repubs weren't .. and yet republicans were more at ease and happier .. the fact is leftism is a serious mental disorder that can only be cured with common sense .. common sense may be genetic .. so their may be no cure for the lefts chronic unhappiness ..

If you would have followed the link to the abstract, you would see that it is a longitudinal study that concluded in 2018, AFTER Trump was elected the first time. It specifically mentions Trump as a factor.
