I bet you that Roy wouldn't lose in a Primary in Texas, his push to cut the debt is why he was elected in the best state in the union. In fact, Trump could be handing the future state of Texas to the Dems by spending so excessively. DOGE is very popular for a reason, it is critical.

“The very unpopular ‘Congressman’ from Texas, Chip Roy, is getting in the way, as usual, of having yet another Great Republican Victory — All for the sake of some cheap publicity for himself. Republican obstructionists have to be done away with,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

In a subsequent post, the president-elect said he hoped “some talented challengers are getting ready in the Great State of Texas to go after Chip in the Primary. He won’t have a chance!”

Roy received applause when he spoke out against this Bill.

Johnson himself said that basically the only difference between this Bill and the old one is that they increased your debt ceiling. Wow. Political wins means more to them than Americas future.

Trump isn't in office yet but outside of his nominations which DO shake up your Establishment a bit, he is not signalling that he will govern as he campaigned. He promoted DOGE for a reason, the single most popular decision he made. He cannot be a sucker for these smooth talking politicians.
