Trump tells supporters they're "PAST supporters" and "I don’t want their support anymore!"

I didn't see a list of names underneath the post and I seriously doubt whether any one individual is going to take it personally.
Of course, I'm wondering how insulting he'd have to be towards them for his supporters to even notice. Are they even real people, is this just some sick AI game?

I think what you've underestimated is the Buddy Factor. Nobody expects to be his buddy.... Everyone knew what he was before they voted for him.... Obnoxious, egocentric, given to wild swings of opinion from time to time. He was not an unknown quantity when he ran at first and he still isn't. The difference here is that you had a large population of voters who put on their big boy pants and voted for the benefit of the country not for their favorite flavor of ice cream.

I would post the post from Truth Social, but in pure "I want this platform to be free speech", you need to sign in or create an account just to see him posts, and I can't be bothered. So I got it from somewhere else.

“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker,” Trump said. “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”

"“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!” Trump added."

Now, we all remember the "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" quote, where he basically told his supporters how stupid they were, way back before he became president, how will they take this one, being told they're former supporters of his and he doesn't like them any more because they want the Epstein files released.

Will they turn on him, or just call it a joke, like they've done so many times in the past?

A bit hard to ignore this one, but that's what I thought before too.
Coming from someone who supported a incestuous pedophile, that's funny. I promise I won't vote for Trump again. I'm just living with his great policies, why your pathetic life looks for anything to criticize.

No, it's you demented zombies that are unhinged over this Epstein CRAP.
IDGAF about this, it means NOTHING.
Will you righteous warriors do the Bohemian Grove next?
And just like that… Epstein was a hoax.

Without a seriously unified MAGA movement Trump gets blown out of the midterms. The electorate is too evenly divided to cast away a large portion of people even if they are crazytown - made crazy by Trump’s promises to release the files only to pull the rug out from under MAGA.

Your boy, Biden the usurper, sat on those very same files for FOUR YEARS without a PEEP of concern from you demented zombies.
Spare me you crocadilian tears now.

It's not about underestimating here. It's about thinking what a sensible person would do, and putting that over the top of what MAGA do and seeing just how ridiculous different it is.

Biden didnt run on releasing any Epstein files, fake or real. That was the mad MAGA boy and boy is MAGA mad.

9 out of 10 promises kept is still winning.
Why don't you outrage over the Bohemian Grove?
GO FOR IT, WOOT!!!!!
Get your Handmade Tale ass in gear!!!!
You demented zombies have nothing but FAKE SELECTIVE OUTRAGE.
It's quite PATHETIC.

  • Trump was President when all the evidence was collected
  • Trump was President when Epstein was suicided
  • Trump was President when a fake Phase 1 of files were released, turns out they were already publicly available
  • Trump was President when the Epstein list was on Pam Bondi’s desk
  • Trump was President when suddenly there was no list on Pam Bondi’s desk
  • Trump was President when an edited video was released with time gaps
  • Trump was President when Epstein’s prosecutor was fired.
All adds up to being the Democrats fault.

Hmmm .... Apparently you didn't understand anything that I just posted. That's exactly the process that most people went through when they decided to vote for Trump in the first place. Not a lot of people like the guy but they like his dynamic actions.

Just the opposite. They voted for all the stuff Trump promised them. From no tax on tips and overtime, to the release of the JFK, RFK and Epstein files.

Plus the case wasn't over, Maxwell had an appeal pending, which wasn't answered until September 2024, making release prior to that inappropriate.

They voted for better grocery prices which Trump had better produce soon, they voted for a closed border..... They voted to keep men out of little girls locker rooms. Nobody really expected to see the tax breaks but they're nice to have and yes a lot of people looking forward to seeing a list of names... Did it ever occur to you that the list has long since been destroyed?

All in all I don't think it's going to cost Trump very much support at all.

To be honest, people have two choices in the US system. You are either a pro-person, like MAGA or some on the left. Then you have those people who will vote negatively.

The US system is so negative because in FPTP you only need to convince a few people, in some cases, to vote for you, that you just throw shit at your opponent and it sticks

The right is so much better at it because they only see the end goal of more votes. The left tries, in many cases, to be moral, to stand for something, even if it doesn't make sense.

So, shit throwing benefits the right, and Trump is very good at throwing shit. You might call that "dynamic action", I call it being a dick.

The right is more closely associated with a long standing religious construct. I'm not going to say that it's a superior construct only that it's much older than the postmodern outline that the left seems to be enamored of. Placed against each other Head to Head the older or well established system will eventually edge out the other one. You see this everywhere you look.... A similar situation is taking place right now in China.

Yeah, they've been trained for thousands of years to accept the unbelievable without thinking.

China is different, they're just not being taught to think at any level, especially in education, then they get force fed "news" which is ridiculous.

Re: the tax breaks.
The actual no tax, only covers the first $12,500 of overtime and the first $25,000 on tips.
Plus it only covers FLSA overtime (1.5 X) for work over 40 hours per week, and not overtime from state law, or collective bargaining agreement.
The IRS is still working on the exact regulations, but it's nowhere near what Trump campaigned on.
