Trump tells supporters they're "PAST supporters" and "I don’t want their support anymore!"

This seems to be a good moment to remind folks that it was a singularly bad idea to elect a convicted felon - and a man found liable for sexual abuse, who bragged about grabbing women, and consorted with the world’s most notorious pedophile — to the presidency.

Trump is starting to talk about MAGA Republicans in the same mean, nasty way that he talks about Democrats....the Jeffrey Epstein scandal has definitely got Trump deeply rattled.

I have tried to warn MAGA Republicans that Trump would eventually turn against his most loyal followers the minute they have a serious disagreement with him....and this is proof of that.

From the Washington Post. --

In a social media post, Trump suggested that the GOP skeptics were playing into the hands of Democrats, who he said “stick together like glue,” in contrast with Republicans.

Democrats’ “new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker,” Trump wrote. “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”

Trump echoed those comments while speaking to reporters later Wednesday in the Oval Office, saying the “hoax” surrounding Epstein has been “perpetrated by the Democrats and some stupid Republicans, and foolish Republicans fall into the net.”

Trump has spent recent days trying to quell criticism from some of his supporters over his administration’s decision not to release files from the case. Democrats have sought to deepen the divide among Republicans by amplifying the criticism and suggesting Trump has a personal motivation to keep the information from the public, despite his campaign promises last year to release it.

The president argued Wednesday that the Republicans questioning his handling of the case were distracting from the success of his administration in other areas.

“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!” Trump said.

We aren't snowflakes so we can take it... MAGA forever....

What did Soros know and when did he know it. Did Manson do it again who knows.

Deporting all illegals, etc, is obviously something that still needs to be done - however, if Trump doesn't want to be supported anymore by people who question him, then I have no further desire to support him. I can separate his policies from the man.

I'm kind of getting to that point as well. Vance would be a good successor to Trump, since he has far less ego.

Vance? He's boring. Don't particularly like him, because he hasn't really given me much reason to like him. He has said a lot of the right things, but he is fairly silent on this. I wonder where he stands.

I don't like Rubio, or any of the other guys, really.

Someone like Carlson, and Steve Bannon, those two might be a good ticket for 2028. Unsure.

President Trump has way bigger fish to fry than the Epstein files release. I speak only for myself, but I support Trump because he has proven he puts America and Americans first ahead of foreign priorities. That has NEVER happened with any recent President GOP or DEM.
He doesn't even want his own followers questioning the Epstein files, he thinks his followers are stupid and weak for questioning him. How can you support him after that he has insulted the people who voted for him?

I like Carlson and Bannon, but I don't think either one is as electable as Vance. He may be boring, but he's the kind of boring that is palatable to swing voters. Bannon might be a good running mate or Cabinet member (as Carlson would be as well).

Fair point, until Vance (possibly) comes out to defend Trump's actions over the Epstein list.

Of course President Trump is pissed off and frustrated - his agenda has been completely and totally railroaded by

immigration - corrupt federal judges
Ukraine - Lindsey Graham and the CIA
ME - Netanyahu , the Mossad and the CIA

With the exception of the exchange with Zelenskyy, Vance usually tries to smooth things over. He's the good cop to Trump's bad cop. I would imagine he will probably try to gently nudge people to "trust the process" as it were.

There isn't any trust left when Trump, the man who ran on releasing these files is gaslighting his followers by saying it is a Hoax, while standing next to the guy (Howard Lutnick) who was Epstein's Neighbor, while laughing.
