Trump Tells Court To Strike Down Entire Affordable Care Act

Why not?
Until 2010 everything was fine for 80-90% of us.

The problem is the v10%-20% are the sick ones

They aren't all sick and they have a better than 50% chance as the body has a great way of healing itself.
So they will get better, or they won't.

You are a fucking moron. My son is a Type 1 diabetic, his body will never heal itself, in fact his body is attacking itself and killing the process for producing insulin.

God bless your son Golfing.

I do agree with the Trump Administration though, that drug companies should NOT be able to hold Americans hostage for their R and D, while selling the same drug somewhere else for a mere fraction of what we pay.

The drug companies retort always is-------------> if we do not do this, they will just create a knock off and break our patent.

I do not know what the solution to that is, or how it can be enforced; but I do know that if Trump is successful, our healthcare costs would drop dramatically. On this issue, we should ALL stand behind the President, since it is good for every American citizen, ill or not.

You do realize those other countries are not free market countries.
The government either sets the drug prices and or subsidizes them.
If a drug company doesn't cede to the govt. edicts they don't get to sell their product there.

I am not doubting your take at all. Point is------>we Americans should NOT be on the hook for the worlds R and D for life saving drugs or new drugs. My only position is----->we should stand behind the President together, in hopes he can solve this as it benefits us.

Yes. That is the case.

ObamaCare is terrible and fucked things up even worse.

But you cannot just pretend the last 8 years never happened and reset things to how they were in 2010.

People either live with their ailments or they don't, keeping people alive with massive amounts of expensive drugs and therapy knowing that they are still going to die is what the real problem is, everyone wants to live forever "Nobody does"? Medical science only prolongs what we all know is the inevitable. America should legalize Euthanasia for Adults. We have legalized abortion which kills human beings who can't give consent, So why should adults who can give consent be denied the ability to end their life and possibly protect their life savings from the Huge medical industry trying to prolong the inevitable for profit.

Your kid is out of college and you have him on your work plan until he is 26?

Gone

You have a pre-existing condition (and that covers almost anything you ever were treated for)...they can drop you or charge so much you'l never be able to afford it.

Insurance companies are currently mandated to keep overhead and profit to 20%. It used to be 30% before the ACA. WHat do you think it will be once Trump kills the ACA?

Sure won't be cheaper

Remember yearly caps? Remember lifetime caps? Prior to 2010 if you got sick...those caps would mean you're ONLY covered until you hit those caps and then....nothing.

Yea...that'll be back too.

Of course if you DON'T get sick...ever...you can spend money for something that "covers" you...but when you actually need it...does nothing or next to nothing for you

We aren't supposed to live forever.

Trump and the administration repeatedly promised -- particularly leading up to the midterm election -- to protect people with less-than-perfect medical histories.

But this shift in the Justice Department's stance doubles down on stripping away all the protections that were a hallmark of the landmark heath reform law.

Everybody say goodbye to dotard.
If not for John McCain this would already be a done deal.

May he rot in disgrace.

President Trump's idea is to institute tremendous healthcare which will provide high quality health care and save the people money. More for less.

John McCain rejected this a year or so ago, after making a sacred vow to the people to reform healthcare. McCain had a stick up his ass after Trump defended his people from McCain's attacks.

Now, its time to bring it back. And it will be up to the Democrats to get behind it too. Put the country first for once.

Trump has no idea, Trump nor the Repubs have a better plan.

From what I've heard, it sounds like a tremendous plan. Personally, I think the idea of great health care and saving money could be very attractive to the people and could help Trump politically. I can see why McCain, consumed by his hatred for Trump said "no" to the idea.

Why not give it a try, if it doesn't work, the Democrats can run on fighting and repealing Fabulous Health Care.

There is no plan, so I do not know what you heard other than empty promises from your god in the White House

Yes, there is a plan. If you paid attention you would know that the Trump Plan is for almost unbelievably great healthcare that will save the people money. To me, it sounds good, and that's undoubtably the reason why Trump Haters like McCain were so hot to trot to kill it.

Either way it is not worth my time.

If you would be so kind to post a link to that plan it would greatly be appreciated. I know of no such plan.

From what I've heard, it sounds like a tremendous plan.

What "plan" is that?

There IS no plan to replace the ACA

I think an Insurance System wherein you can select what things you want to be covered for would be a good Idea. Or payment into a Personal Care Plan for future costs with complete tax exemption for all funds in the Health account. I don't like paying for other peoples problems(Left or right handed). Our govt should stay out of the HC business they are not very good at it. Medicaid and Medicare for Example are wrought with uncontrolled fraud and abuse.

Trump's plan:

Let this drag out in the courts until election.

He get's re elected.

Proposes universal healthcare.

His base does a 360 and now embraces universal healthcare.

The Republican congress has no choice (because of his base) to go along.

The Democrats does a 360 and thinks universal healthcare is stupid.

We aren't on the hook. The drug company is so they agree to the socialist edicts from foreign governments so they can sell some of their product, even if it's at cost it helps to pay off the R & D.
If they chose not to sell in those countries, the prices in the US would be higher.

Oh an off shoot of the HSA. Your plan is a great plan for personal care (preventative) who pays for your hospital stay, cancer treatments, etc?

No. It's the free market plan.

There shouldn't be Republican plans or democrat plans.

The "free market" REPUBLICAN plan is

"You get sick...you Die"

If you want to keep your family from going into massive debt...Die Quick

Better solutions at lower cost!

There has not been a better solution offered.

Obamacare has been sabotaged since day one. How about we put some effort into making it work instead of trying tow wreck it as part of an ego trip.

Cause guess what, no one is running around with a better plan.

Nope!

Just say fuck it. The filthy as government does not need to be in the business of health care. Especially when they are giving out free stuff like subsidies.

Obamacare was always a terrible idea. A stupid plan devised by a stupid President that none of the people that voted for it even bothered to read.

There has not been a better solution offered.
BS.

Freedom to buy what you want us a better solution.

Fascists always think the problem is that citizens have too much liberty.

You have that freedom to buy what you want and you always did.

But you don't have the freedom to keep that money that you earned. With Obamacare money was taken away from the paying customers and given to the welfare queens and that is despicable.

Preexisting conditions is just another form of filthy welfare.

You don't pay into an insurance policy but when you get sick you get the coverage and somebody else has to pay for it. Disgusting welfare and it ain't right.
